Delicious, no grainy/chalky texture like a lot of protein things. Great flavor, my kids even ask for more! We adults like them too.

There is no clear indication on the front of the box that these bars are designed for kids. It’s referenced on the back and side panel but it’s not obviously id you’re viewing the front of the box. The only reason I picked up on it was because the wrapper the bar comes in says “Clif Kid” in the corner. Even my tween daughter was questioning the packaging and whether she should eat these. In natural American fashion, these bars contain a lot of unnecessary ingredients and too much sugar. Can’t say I’m shocked by this. Love the added protein though.

Both the chocolate chip and cookies ’n crème flavors were instant favorites they’re sweet enough to feel like a treat, but not overly sugary. My kids actually get excited to pack one in their lunchbox or grab one for camp which is a win for me as a parent. What I really appreciate is that these bars have 5 grams of protein, so they’re more satisfying than regular snack bars. They’re soft, chewy, and just the right size for a kid’s appetite. I’ve even found myself reaching for them when I need a quick snack or something light before a workout. They’re not just kid-friendly—they’re adult-approved too! Plus, I love that they’re made with organic oats and no artificial flavors. I feel good about giving them to my kids, and I’ve already stocked up on a second box. If you’re looking for a nutritious, convenient, and tasty snack, I highly recommend giving these a try!

The cookies and crème is not my favorite because to me it doesn’t taste like cookies and crème. My kids on the other hand love the taste. They are a little hard so not the softest protein bar. These are still a fan favorite in our house.

They said both flavors were so delicious and I love that they are sneaking in protein while enjoying their snacks, although I do wish there was more protein included (5g isn’t all that much for something labeled as protein). The zbars are always a big hit in our house and I do love that all the ingredients are organic and there are no artificial preservatives or sweeteners. The box is huge with half of each flavor but we will fly through it!

I had to grab one of each flavor and hide them so that I could photograph them for this review! The cookies and cream tasted like the Poptarts! The chocolate chip one my son said was a little too chocolately for him. I noticed they ate the cookies and cream the quickest! Overall, these were a huge hit! We’ll definitely be buying them!

She thinks she's getting a treat and I get some peace of mind knowing she is getting something good for her. I would 100% recommend them to anyone. I will say they are a little expensive but I'm willing to pay a little more for good ingredients.
