A game changer for my raised beds

Excellent raised bed soil mix. Great texture, drains well, and my plants took off right away! My veggies are growing faster and healthier than with other mixes I've used. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a high quality raised bed mix.

A must have for my little garden!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This raised bed mix from "Back to the Roots" is a good product for root growth. It brings a good source of nutrients to my little garden and make it easy to stay bagging without leaking to the soil. It also has a good packaging which does not leak smell outside so very comfortable for storage with no odor. Lightweight for great nutrients!

Good Quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Spring is nearly here...the best season of all! I've been busy prepping my container and raised bed gardens for flowers and herbs! I'd never used this particular potting soil before and was excited to give it a try! It's relatively light which is super nice. The first thing I noticed is how it tends to retain water! I don't feel like I have to be watering my plants daily. It's packed with nutrients too so my plants should be full and thriving all growing season! This bag is for one square foot which isn't a lot but you can always blend a bit of other soil in with it to make it stretch further if you do so choose. I've done that with other potting soil yearly and plants still look beautiful and lush!

A Lovely Soil for your Raised Bed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This organic, peat-free mix is a total game-changer for anyone serious about raised bed gardening. The first thing you notice is the incredible texture; it’s remarkably light and fluffy, providing the perfect balance of aeration and drainage that prevents soil compaction. Unlike many bagged soils that turn into a dense brick after a few waterings, this mix stays porous, allowing young roots to spread effortlessly. It is clearly packed with high-quality nutrients and beneficial biology, as evidenced by the immediate, vibrant growth of everything from heavy-feeding vegetables to delicate herbs. What truly sets the Back to the Roots mix apart is its ability to retain moisture without becoming waterlogged. It keeps plants hydrated through the midday heat while ensuring they never suffer from root rot, which is a common struggle in contained garden beds. Furthermore, the commitment to a 100% peat-free and organic formula makes it a standout choice for the environmentally conscious grower. It offers the peace of mind that you are using a sustainable product that is safe for your family and the planet. Ultimately, this soil mix eliminates the guesswork and the need for immediate supplemental fertilizing. The results are visible in the lush foliage and the overall health of the garden throughout the entire growing season. While it may be a premium option, the superior quality and impressive yields it produces make it a fantastic investment for any gardener. It is easily the most reliable and high-performing raised bed mix I have used to date, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Exactly what it says!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Back to the Roots “Better” Raised Bed mix is perfect. We've repotted a couple succulents and some herbs for our kitchen. We found it retains water well, no annoying little flying bugs and it looks nice. It's a rich, deep soil packed with nutrients to help your plants grow! We've used a few different types of soil from this brand and we are huge fans!

Good soil. A lot of bugs. Better outdoor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good soil, it was pretty aerated and held moisture well. It did have a lot of small bugs so not ideal for indoor plants without some treatment. I had no business trying cherry blossoms in this weather but one still grew. Minus one for the bugs

Great quality organic soil for healthy plants

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently used back to the roots organic premium blend raised pet mix for my raised garden bed and and my experience is really positive. The soil has a light, fluffy texture that makes it easy to spread and plant in. It also holds moisture well, which helps plans to stay hydrated without constant watering. One thing I like about this mix is, it's hundred% organic and peat-free, making it a more environmentally friendly option compared to some traditional soils. The blend includes ingredients like Yuka extract for moisture control and minerals like balanced pH which helps support healthy plant growth. After planting vegetables and herbs in the raised bed, the plants started growing well and the soil stayed loose and aerated.
