This particular mix is great for growing my fall veggies. I like the texture. You can see it is soft for planting. I love that this has plant food mixed in too, this gives my veggie plants a great start. This also has upcycled plant matter and it's made in the USA. Back to Roots is great for planting! Somehow, it manages to maintain moisture, unlike soil I've used in the past. There is no harsh smell. Looks like I may have to switch the soil I'm using for my fresh vegetables and fruits for sure.

There are no large chunks or clumps which makes it a lot easier to spread. There are also no “fillers” like rocks or other materials though I did find an occasional twig. The soil drains well which is great for my vegetables. I love that the soil mix is organic, making it a healthier option for my family.
