I bought these for a set transition beds for my kids during a move. They collapsed twice when set up as bunk beds. I ended up separating the beds and the analysis by my young son (9) was they are uncomfortable. These are “large” and I tried them for a night. I’m 5’8 and they are too small for me. If you are an avid yoga instructor I’m sure you could find a comfortable position. We tried them camping and because they are heavy they just are not worth the hassle. The videos of what you can set up look great the reality is they are very heavy, made for a hobbit…and the bunk bed set up is ridicules. I had them for 3 months. They got 15- 20 days of use. This morning I donated them to the goodwill. I have returned back to a good Thermorest pad for camping and any other adventures.

RECEIVED YESTERDAY, SET UP TODAY, TOOK A NAP ON IT. COMFORTABLE! WE'RE 5'2" AND 5' RESPECTIVELY SO PLENTY OF ROOM. BOUGHT FOR EMERGENCY BEDDING FOR OUR BASEMENT ... TWISTERS, HURRICANES, ETC. TOO MANY TIMES WE HAVE EVACUATED TO OUR BASEMENT BECAUSE OF WEATHER, SITTING UP IN CHAIRS (OFTEN FOR HOURS), ESPECIALLY DURING MIDDLE OF NIGHT, EXHAUSTING. WE'RE OVER 70, ARTHRITIC AND JOINTS DO NOT APPRECIATE LONG SITS. LOOKS LIKE PHOTOS, ASSEMBLES EASILY AND BREAKS DOWN JUST AS EASY ... COMFORTABLE, SPACIOUS, GREAT POCKETS ON SIDE FOR PHONE, WATER, LIGHT, READING MATERIAL, ETC. VERY PLEASED.

This set is heavy and durable with a 500 pound capacity for EACH bed which is amazing! The bed is very long and can accommodate people that are at least 6'6" with ease. It takes a few minutes to assemble...and even longer to take apart and put correctly into the carrying cases so I see this more as a long-term project (a few days or more) than just overnight. The construction is well made and the parts fit together with perfection. A lot of thought and planning went into this design. The fabric is heavy and is not, in my opinion, intended to be slept on without some form of sheet or bedding. I purchased 2 of these sets and I am completely satisfied with them. 

Be sure you know how wide this is as I had to have the XL to fit. Length was fine but not the width. I'm 6'4" and about 20.5" wide at the shoulders. The bars were really uncomfortable and my arms had to lay on top of them when on my back. In my opinion they should rename this to medium and the XL to L. Other than that they are very well made and sturdy. I slept on the XL for months worth a pad on top and it was as comfortable or better than most these crap sagging mattresses we get these days.

I have bought 3 sets so far. Have a set at my Son's who has a small single wide and other cots and air mattress where too bulky these fit perfect. My husband is 6ft 220 and I am 5.2 175. and we sleep great on these. Bought another set when another son moved back home for a bit with his 2 boys. And then another set for them when they moved out for their beds because they loved them so much. I'm a 60 year old woman and can carry the case and put the set up by myself. LOVE THEM!!

We purchased two Large bed sets one in green and one in black. Overall these bunks feel like I might have to write them into my will, they will last that long. Pros: -Durable, save space in the tent, easy to set up, comfortable, carrying case is well designed. Cons: -Heavy....very heavy. I weigh about 105 lbs and they take all my strength to maneuver each part of the bunk set onto my cars roof rack. We have also tried Disc-O-Beds Duvalay product with these. The beds offer a good nights sleep on their own, but any sleeping pads make it that much better.

We bought this for our grandkids to use while relaxing when we are camping out and now we have found many more uses for it. Our family has enjoyed it when traveling, sleepovers, holidays, and stores nicely in its carrying case. The Disc O Bed is so easy to set up our grandkids 6-9 years old set it up in minutes.

Be extremely careful letting a heavy person sleep on top. The instructions explicitly say to have the push buttons turned inward. I set it up, close enough, and both of our small kids had sat in the top bunk together. I told them to get down and to not be on the bottom. I climbed on top at 200 lbs to check it out and it collapsed instantly. After reassembling it again I got up and everything was fine. I am certain that it clicked into place the first time but honestly to collapse like that seems dangerous. Never put an adult above a small kid, regardless.

Big and sturdy fits for a variety of uses

Like others have stated these units are heavy but they are extremely sturdy.
