At the first few bites I was thinking this is pretty bland, not much flavor, until my mouth started heating up😅. If you like spicy food without any other flavors this will be perfect! it's a pretty satisfying meal and definitely would be enough food for a quick work lunch. Not great but not bad for the convenience!

I love this Ben’s original meal because it only takes 90 seconds to heat up, and then it’s ready to eat! No meal prep needed! It only has one gram of fat which is amazing! And only 3 sugars as well! I love the taste of this and it’s the perfect lunch meal when you’re in a rush!

It’s not overpowering (maybe a medium salsa level of spice?). For a quick meal, the portion size is good and the taste is overall decent. I added sour cream, but I would also have liked to add cheese or maybe something for a little crunch. I would buy this again and even try the other flavors.

This is a shelf stable product which is also a bonus. The packaging was standard and easy to use as were the directions. The ingredients were what you would expect for this product and matched the flavor profile. The consistency was good as was the flavor. This would be great to use up left over protein with and toss it in for a quick lunch break meal!

The ingredients are great, the packaging is good and it’s easy for something to throw in your bag and heat up at work and makes for easy packing, the texture of this meal is wonderful, this provides good nutrition and protein to power you through the day, this is a tasty quick meal with a very good price for a fast lunch that will leave you full so you can focus on the task at hand, I recommend these completely! Shelf stable as well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Uncle Ben's beans and rice burrito bowl was the perfect side dish for a quick lunch. This beans and rice bowl had the perfect mexican spices blend and even has pieces of pieces of corn and small bits of tomatoes and green peppers. This bowl has less black beans vs rice. The size of the bowl is plenty for a one person serving and only took 90 seconds in the microwave and no added ingredients. The bowl does have a lot of liquid to it before cooking but all that dissolves and it comes out pretty moist. This bowl is super convenient for meals on the go since the bowl is very sturdy and can be eaten out of, with no refrigeration needed. This is a great value for the price.

It is filling and tastes great with just enough spice for me. It's so easy to store a couple of these in my desk for when I need them because they are shelf stable.

The portion was a good amount and I was full until my next meal. I enjoyed the beans and veggies that were mixed in. The packaging was easy to open.
