I’m going to save it to make a breakfast burrito in the morning but I think this would be a great side addition to a dinner! The ingredients seem pretty pure for a microwave pantry meal which I like! It does say contains bioengineered which I typically avoid but also don’t know the details about it. Overall, a good choice for those last minute dinners or when you need to stretch a meal.

I'm not sure what ingredients were in it but it wasn't what I was expecting. And the package was really cool looking too. It looked so good

It is really good if you accompanied it with a flour tortilla. And make it an actual Burrito. These are great for a quick lunch. They have a little spice kick and a strong bell pepper flavor, which I wasn't expecting but really liked. I can store a few in the pantry that I can heat in 90 seconds during a time crunch.

I took this meal to work and it was very convenient and easy to follow the directions. I liked the flavor of the spices but i took off a star because the rice was slight dry. I liked the beans and corn would’ve preferred a little more. The taste was good and I would recommend it if you need a fast and easy meal.

Following the directions, I peeled back the film in one corner and microwaved for 90 seconds, then let it sit for a minute before stirring. The film was initially difficult to peel back but eventually opened. Preparation was simple—just pop it in the microwave. I could see the veggies and rice clearly, and mixing them together was easy. The ingredients are super clear and easy to read, making it feel like a clean choice meal without a bunch of crazy chemical additives. Taste-wise, it's decent but could be improved. The rice and veggies (beans, corn, and peppers) are present, but it lacks flavor, needing more salt and spice. Some hot sauce would enhance it. Halfway through, I felt it needed more substance, like meat, but I appreciate the option of a vegetarian bowl. The texture, however, is excellent. The veggies are cooked and soft with a bit of bite, and the rice is well-cooked, soft, and not mushy or hard. The portion size is also great. With a side dish, this could be a superb meal. On its own, the rice and beans can get monotonous, but it's definitely filling.

I think Ben's Original, formerly Uncle Ben's, is almost synonymous with rice in this country and there is a comfort to it. As in I was pretty excited to try out this burrito bowl. It's hefty and filling, as well as quick and convenient, especially not needing refrigeration. I think this would make a great grab and go, a quick lunch. Not on its own though, however, because it is rather bland. It's quite dry and although it looks like it is covered in seasoning, it just lacks any distinctive taste. I think it'd serve best as an accompaniment to other dishes or at least with some seasoned component, like at least some sauce.
