[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was very disappointed to see that the box says that it contains bioengineered ingredients. Not sure what needed to be bioengineered when all it is, is rice beans and some veggies. This is such a simple meal to make at home - you’re better off doing it yourself! I did give it a try and it was way too spicy for me. Between the spice level and the bioengineered ingredients I couldn’t finish it and ended up throwing it out.

The flavor was pretty subpar—lacking the punch or depth I usually expect from a burrito bowl. That said, the convenience of being able to microwave it quickly is a plus, especially on a busy day at work when I need something fast for lunch. It’s handy in a pinch, but I wouldn’t reach for it if I’m looking for something truly satisfying.

For only 380 calories this bowl is very filling! I’m very surprised at how much food comes in this bowl. The single use bowl makes it easy for bringing lunch to work or to a hotel. Yummy quick and easy meal.
