One side is soft and fur-like; the other side is soft in a velvety way. Very attractive. These throws met and exceeded expectations, especially given the price point. They make excellent gifts. No downsides, imo. They are not overly heavy, and not feather light. Great to snuggle in when it’s cold outside.

This blanket is so absolutely, luxuriously SOFT! It's fairly large; too heavy and nice to use as a bed blanket. Save it for putting on your couch and cuddling under on cold days. I feel so pampered when I snuggle under it. I also bought one for my adult son, and he is obsessed with it! This would be the best and most practical gift you can give or get for Christmas. You just feel pampered when under it. Last time I went to a Sam's club, I bought a blanket that I thought was this one. It was OK but not nearly as soft. But then I remembered that a few years ago, the only way I could buy this particular one was online. Be sure to look for the "Luxury Faux Fur" label.

Best blanket! Super soft, nice weight, perfect size. Bought one last year and then they went out of stock. Bought two more now that they are back in stock this year.

To say that this is a luxury throw is putting it mildly. It is extremely soft. Absolutely gorgeous. A fine gift for any occasion. So glad I have it.

I originally got one of these as a birthday present, but the more I felt of it while it was in my cart, I decided to go back and get another one. It feels heavenly.

It is a heavy, unbelievably soft throw but mine had the smell. Washed it, used double fabric softener, let it air out, but it still has it. I got the white leopard print, I don't know if they all have it. Good luck

Well, I have always loved Sam’s Club blankets, but this one did NOT meet the expectation bar. It is soft…BUT without any thickness to it. It is extremely weak when it comes to density. It feels cheaply made. I returned it for a refund. I have never returned any of the blankets I have purchased from Sam’s. This was a first. And I hope the last.

The quality of this throw has seriously taken a DIVE! It is no longer "plush", & is has hardly any fill. What fill it does have just sits on one side or the other! Won't buy this sight unseen any longer! Sam's Club Buyers must've switched suppliers to save a buck! VERY DISAPPOINTED!

It is so soft and very nice looking. I put it in the wash and dried it on low as per instructions, and when I went on to use it I had faux fur everywhere, immensely turned down by the fact. I washed it 4 times after and it didn’t get any better.

This throw is beautiful and soft but it sheds no matter how many times you wash it. Literally looks like pet hair all over your clothes. It also doesn't have a seam along the edges so the two pieces of material, front and back of the blanket, strangely separate. I chose to return them.
