The new Igloo 54 is not the old Igloo 54 that I know an love. It has non-replaceable handles and hinges. And the drain fitting no longer accepts standard a garden hose for drainage. Now you have to carry the ice chest to drain it. Or get a bucket. Instead of attaching a garden hose if you don't want water where your ice chest is. It's a well made chest. But I bet it will not last 20 years like the older models. But it should be a serviceable substitute.

Good size cooler, I prefer this type to one with wheels because I carry this exclusively in my vehicle and it doesn’t roll or slide around. Solid and built to last.

It’s a very nice cooler. We ordered for a fundraiser and it was surprising sturdy and good quality.

I traded my insulated Igloo bag for this cooler. I used ice packs in place of ice and it stayed in the back of my car in 80 degree weather for 13 hours, the drinks were still cold.

Didn’t have to wait long

Description says ice keeps for 5 days. It may keep hay long if you don’t open it. I n spite of that, I would recommend this cooler.

I had hoped to use this cooler for camping. An online review said it kept the ice for a few days, nearly as good as the expensive brands. But the ice melted in one or days.

I decided to purchase this item because of the Igloo reputation. It stated it was supposed to keep an ice for FIVE DAYS. It's an outright lie. Even filling with cold items and 2 huge bags, it didn't keep half the ice for a day. We had to purchase 2 fresh bags every day. Thank goodness we were able to instead of being off grid. I'm returning if I can and getting a Yeti. It'll keep ice for longer than 15 hrs.
