I've had mine just shy of two weeks and use it daily. I got the 18 because I needed a smaller cooler that is easy to move from one place to another as it is only 23 pounds empty. Verify the temperature at a glance and adjusting the temperature couldn't be more simple. Perfect to load with drinks and cold foods for taking to the beach and on long road trips. No more worries of submerging hands in ice water to find your cold drink. Less ice equals more room for drinks and cold foods. No more soggy, dripping labels. The Interior lighting is perfect in the evenings and at night. I am still awaiting the need to use it as a freezer. I love this cooler.

The unit is quiet and maintains the set temperature within the established range. All expectations have been met or exceeded.

This cooler is fantastic!! We traveled to Yellowstone and had cold drinks and water COLD!

Our use case is unique - my wife has permanent nerve pain and requires frozen medical ice to reduce her pain - at home and when traveling. I purchased the ICF18 cooler as a 12V DC portable freezer, which has kept our medical ice at 0°f in hot summer weather on two regional trips I'm confident that using an ICF Igloo cooler to keep food or refreshments chilled for normal picnic and family events will be a lay-up.

I really liked my Igloo ICF-18! As it turns out it fit perfectly between the front seats on my Mercedes-Benz Metris and it's convenient to get cold water while on the road! I power it through the 12v outlet with the 12v cable when I'm on the road. When I'm parked I power it with my Anker C1000 through the 110 outlet with the 110 cable. It's really nice to have the convenience of having a refrigerator in my van! I keep drinks and food cold without having to worry about getting ice or dealing with water everywhere! It's light weight that I can carry and take out before my next trip. I use the same portable dolly for my Anker C1000 to move it around the house. I'm planning on having ice cream on my next trip!

Outstanding! Purchased the ICF 18 a month ago and used for 8 days straight without any problem. We found our perfect temp was 34 degrees. This cooler was spot on with the temperature although the smaller compartment above the compressor was just a few degrees higher. We opted to use that area for soda cans and items that weren't as sensitive to temperature. The main area kept things really cold. I used a refrigerator thermometer before our trip and felt the internal thermometer was spot on within a degree or two. For longer trips or families the 32 (size wise might be better), but we are happy with our choice! The unit was powered with a portable power supply that kept our Igloo running all day while driving with power to spare! To be fair, the Igloo was in a climate controlled car nearly all the time. Hope this helps and we would highly recommend the Igloo ICF 18. It is also very quiet as someone else mentioned. The cooler (fully loaded) was also manageable for a couple of seniors to lift in and out of our car. Good job and Thank you Igloo!!!

Im a trucker and used it for the second week. It's running g fine on my 1500 watt swine inverter. Will keep you informed if any problems

Love it! It has worked perfectly for when my husband has his chemo in the hospital.

If you love cold drinks driving to hot states in the summer or any time this is a great cooler that will do the job. This is highly recommended as opposed to thermoelectric coolers if you need to travel with medication that must be at a certain temperature. The only drawback is that all compressor coolers are heaver by design. The bail handle seems strong enough by design to handle to full weight of the cooler. Where the bail handle attaches to both sides of the cooler body, this is why I gave this cooler 4 stars. It seems to be loose fitting and flimsy at the ends. The handles will just fall down to the sides when let go. The cooling and holding temperature work as designed and the compressor will stay off for about an hour to cool again at the set temp. (42'F). I recommend the cooler, wish the price was less, great overall satisfaction.

Build is solid. Footprint is small enough for the capacity. With temperature set at 23 degrees and two bottles of water left overnight in both compartments, the bottle in the smaller compartment was at 36, and the bottom at 32. The compressor is very quiet. The instructions are useless, trying to explain functionality in pictograms without text, and doing a rather poor job at that.
