[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just turned on this TV and it is a major upgrade from the 65CX I had previously. The CX still looks amazing but this is noticeably brighter. I also like the picture in picture feature for viewing two HDMI's. I am a little disappointed they removed pass through DTS but the CX didn't have it either so I knew this before getting it. This TV was much lighter than the 65CX and felt more solid. The CX was scary when moving it around.

I was looking for an upgrade , I am so happy to get an LGC577 inch TV . Coming from a pioneer plasma, I was afraid the experience would not be as good…I was wrong. The set up and controls are also pretty straight forward, with easy to understand progressive prompts. The blue light reduction is a nice add which I quickly employed. Made an immediate difference. Nice job LG…you have a winner in the C5. Highly recommend.

Gaming on it is crazy good, too—low input lag, all the HDMI 2.1 features, and a picture that makes next-gen games look like they were made for this screen. The built-in webOS still has its little quirks, but it's quick and easy to bounce between apps. For a TV this big, the sound is better than expected, though most people will still want a soundbar. Overall, the C5 is one of those TVs that makes everything you watch feel premium. It's not cheap, but once you see it in action, it's hard to go back.

Immediately upon receiving and setting up my 77” C5, I started playing 4k HDR content and was blown away. I'm coming from a 2016 model from a competitor, and it was a high-end model at the time, and the difference in quality is staggering. I'm very very happy with my purchase, and I can't wait to get back to my movies!
