Great.

My older pro controllers, even with updates will not turn my switch on when I’m sitting in the chair. They work sort of OK afterwards. After talking with Nintendo, I had to run and get one of these. This controller is a major upgrade. The weight size and shape feel nice in your hands, it has new buttons on the back, and interface is perfectly with your new Switch 2. If you are displeased with your Switch 1 pro controller performance this is a must have.

Great controller

Notable improvement over the original pro controller. Control sticks are smoother than any other controller I’ve ever used. The outer material feels nice in your hands, and the new programmable GL and GR buttons are great - every game remembers what you assign them as.

Great Controller for Switch 2!

The new switch 2 pro controller compliments the new switch 2 perfectly! The build quality is definitely better and the ergonomics feel slightly better than the last iteration. Also there are back buttons now too, making it a true “pro” controller. It’s well worth the money if you consider the offerings from Xbox and PlayStation

smoothest control sticks and best hand feel.

i really do like it, supposedly nintendo re-worked the control stick mechanism to be more resistant to the feared "stick Drift". that remains to be seen and which is why i give it a 4 stars out of 5. i bought this for 2 reasons. audio jack and wake up feature. Nintendo does still do free repairs on the control sticks for switch 2 so i figured why not and grab this.

Goodbye Joycon drift

MASSIVE upgrade over the joy cons. There's a slick matte paint that feels nice to the touch. The battery life lasts forever; the ps5 controller is barely holding on for a night whereas this bad boy is going on for days. The d pads and joysticks are positioned kind of like the xbox controller layout and honestly I think it's really comfortable to use it this way. I'm not a fan of the two G buttons on the back of the handles (GL and GR) but they're there if you care for macro buttons.

Excellent Quality Controller!

Love this controller. Excellent quality, very quiet, very comfortable, with a nice finish. If you’re on the fence due to the extra cost, know that you’re paying for a controller that is a nice improvement over the Switch 1 controller, and I think it’s even nicer than the standard PS5 and Xbox controllers.

Honestly, the controller feels fantastic. It’s definitely pricey, but I have no regrets buying it. Sure, you can still use your old Pro Controller, but this one is specifically designed for the Switch 2, making it feel much more intuitive and responsive.

It’s a solid product. Suggested pricing should be cheaper. If Walmart is getting a bulk discount on these then maybe it should be one to two dollars less. Walmart would move more product that way and would be able to primary hub for people buying switch and switch accessories. Especially with Target hurting like they are right now.

Good controller, horrible repairability.

The analog sticks feel absolutely amazing. Easily one of the best, if not the best on the market. I know that sounds crazy, nintendo made an actual good controller/product. Look i'm not a Nintendo fanboy, or a Nintendo glazer, but it is genuinely a pretty good feeling product. It feels premium. The d-pad is pretty good, the buttons feel good, it's not too heavy physically. It looks good everything about the controller is good except repairability, repairability is horrible. If you don't plan on opening it up and changing out the shell, then you're fine. Kind of it does not use hall effect sticks, so it will eventually drift. It will take a little bit longer, but it will eventually drift. If you're a person that is not comfortable with taking stuff apart or does not know how to then. I would not recommend it completely. It's still a good product, but repairability, wise it is pretty bad. It also only works on the Nintendo, switched 2 not the original switch and for anyone who has PC it does work wired. But can be somewhat of a pain. Overall, a good product, just repairability, is not the greatest. the battery is amazing. It lasted me about a week and a half with daily use before it died. Best part is i charged it for 3 hours and the battery was completely max so battery is fantastic. the charging cord, that comes with it is a USB to C Port. which makes sense, because the doc for the switch 2 uses USB on the side. The controller is overpriced, but then again, that's Nintendo. If you see it for 89, don't buy it. If you see it for 80, buy it 85, think about it.

Great feeling control

Got this before I even got my Switch 2 and glad I did. Got it to play Donkey Kong Bananza when it came out (figured I'd have a S2 by then) and so far it's great. Feels good in your hand with the right texture, Smooth with like a felt feel (best way to describe it) so it feels comfortable. Also like that you can map the 2 back buttons (which I still haven't done...lol). The battery life is great as well. Now to just find a charging dock for it and I'll be all set, Because having to have the cord attached to charge gets annoying.
