I picked an OLED because I wanted the vibrant colors and picture quality. The colors are vibrant, the blacks are pitch black. The speakers of the TV were also great, don't even need a soundbar. The TV is also loaded with apps and buttery smooth. The C5 was also easy to setup. I'd recommend this TV my friends and family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No TV is perfect, however for the money you are spending, I would assume better integration of the AI features as well as better overall OS features and customizability. However, picture is great and like any OLED the blacks and contrast are spectacular. If you can get this TV on a deal such as I have then you will have no real complaints (even though its on a deal, still very expensive). Oh and you should expect to get a sound system or sound bar if you are getting this TV, built in speakers not great.

After a month with the 77-inch LG C5, it’s become my do-it-all champ. **Picture: Perfect. Inky blacks make night games and dark shows look incredible, colors are rich but never cartoonish, and motion is buttery smooth, whether it’s a fast Premier League match or a 120 fps shooter. HDR movies (Dolby Vision) look stunning, and even regular cable looks sharper than it has any right to. **Gaming: It is ridiculously good, 4K/120 Hz, VRR, ALLM, and almost zero lag. I went from “pretty good” to “I can actually compete online” the day I plugged in the PS5. **Sound: This was the surprise. The built-in 40 W speakers with AI Sound Pro are crisp, voices are crystal-clear (no more subtitles for British shows!), and there’s decent bass for explosions and stadium crowds. It’s easily the best TV audio I’ve ever had out of the box. Once I got it, it was easy to setup and I had my gaming systems playing at 4K 120 fps in no time. The quality was phenomenal with deep blacks and you had a great view from every angle I sat. Definitely a purchase I would highly recommend.

I have mine in a large bright room and it is true that it is bright room ready. I enjoy the new magic remote with the new AI assistant! If you are thinking about getting this vs a QLED tv, it is worth the money!

The colors look rich, the screen is extremely sharp, and movies look almost like they’re playing in a theater. Bright scenes and dark scenes both look great. I’ve also been really impressed with how smooth it is for gaming. The response feels instant and everything looks very clear, especially in fast games. The built-in apps work well and the menu is easy to use, so I haven’t had any issues finding what I need. The sound quality is good for a thin TV. I still prefer using a soundbar for movies, but on its own it’s definitely better than expected. Overall I’m very happy with the purchase. The TV looks great in my space and I feel like I got really strong value for the money. I would definitely recommend the LG C5 to anyone looking for a great OLED TV.
