The picture is incredibly sharp, with the kind of deep blacks and rich contrast that make movies and games look almost surreal, and the brightness is strong enough to give HDR content real punch without blowing out the details. Off-angle viewing is great too, which is a lifesaver if your couch setup isn’t perfectly centered. The sound is surprisingly full for built-in speakers, though most people buying a TV this nice will probably still pair it with a soundbar. The only real downsides are the usual OLED quirks — reflections in bright rooms and a remote that feels a little more fiddly than it needs to be. It’s a big, heavy TV, so setting it up isn’t exactly a one-person job, but once it’s in place, it’s genuinely impressive for the price. Overall, it’s a fantastic pick if you’re after a huge, high-end screen without jumping into the crazy-expensive flagship tier.

The picture quality is incredibly sharp, and the colors really pop in a way that makes movies and games feel more immersive compared to my previous TV. Dark scenes look rich and detailed, and bright scenes are vibrant. The picture quality is just super clean and natural, with deep blacks and realistic colors without oversaturation. Out of the box it already looked good, and after a bit of tweaking it’s become amazing for everything — movies, shows, sports, all of it just looks perfect and the size makes it feel pretty cinematic at home. For gaming, though, it really shines. Input lag feels very low, and once Game Mode is on, everything just responds instantly on PS5/PC. 4K at high refresh rates, VRR, and those HDMI 2.1 ports make it easy to plug in multiple devices and not think about it again. HDR games look great too — bright highlights, detailed dark areas, and no weird smearing or ghosting in fast scenes. If you’re into gaming and also want something that’s just solid for everyday watching, this has been a amazing upgrade.

Immediately upon receiving and setting up my 77” C5, I started playing 4k HDR content and was blown away. I’m coming from a 2016 model from a competitor, and it was a high-end model at the time, and the difference in quality is staggering. Scenes with pitch black do not have any backlight glow. The TV is bright, colors are vivid, and the contrast is excellent . . . 5 Stars!!!!

The picture quality is outstanding, truly crispy and clear. The vibrant colors and contrast, really adds another layer to moving watching, making it all the more enjoyable. As an added bonus, the TV is very responsive and user friendly. This TV would be a lovely edition to anyone's home! Highly reccomend.

The smart features are very convenient and make hands free controlling your television easy with Amazon Alexa. It came with a free LG sound bar so the overall sound quality of the setup is excellent. My previous 70 inch LG was 10-20 lbs heavier due to being older and thicker. The new OLED 77 inch C5 is razor thin and awesome looking when wall mounted which was so easy due it being so light. The glass screen seems sturdier than the old LCD technology soft screen. I was still very scared to handle it while wall mounting it due to it being so thin but it installed great.

After 5 years of amazing quality and no issues with burn-in we jumped at the chance to add a 77 inch C5 to our collection. The CX was jaw dropping then but somehow LG just keeps getting better and better. Many don't realize that this breakthrough in technology and price was only possible due to the decades of relentless investment by LG into figuring out how to mass produce OLED TVs at an affordable price. Thank you LG for bringing this amazing technology to the world! Once you go LG OLED you are a customer for life!
