I finally decided to upgrade to the 77" C5 after seeing all the positive reviews—and I was stunned the moment I turned it on. The picture quality is just on another level: the blacks are inky, colors are rich without looking cartoonish, and the extra brightness really makes HDR movies and shows pop. The larger 77" size is incredibly immersive, especially for movies and sports, but it still feels sharp and detailed, not stretched. Motion handling is smooth, which has been great for both fast-paced action and gaming. The smart TV interface is snappy and easy to use, apps load quickly, and all the usual streaming services run flawlessly. Gaming on this thing is a dream—low input lag, great response, and everything just looks so clean and vibrant. Overall, I already loved my C1, but the C5 feels like a true step up in every way. The picture quality is unbelievable, deep, inky blacks, perfect contrast, and colors that look exactly how they’re meant to be. Movies, F1, and gaming all look insanely smooth, and the 77" size completely transforms the room into a home theater. The new webOS runs fast, the remote is intuitive, and the brightness is a huge step up from older OLEDs. HDR content practically jumps off the screen. Even in our bright living room, it holds up with zero glare issues. Gaming is next-level as well, ultra low input lag, all the HDMI 2.1 features, and motion that stays crystal clear during fast action. The sound is surprisingly good for a slim TV, but paired with a soundbar it’s perfect. If you’re on the fence, just get it. This TV is an absolute masterpiece and worth every dollar.

Even though I was already used to OLED displays, this TV blew me away. The contrast, colors, and motion handling are all phenomenal. I appreciate the on board OS allows you to limit advertisements almost completely. The only drawback is the internal speaker quality is not the greatest. However, that is usually never the case for any TV in my experience. We use a soundbar and have no issues at all.

I was expecting a difference coming from a high-end QLED, but the leap to true OLED is incredible. The C5 lives up to the hype—it's the best TV I've ever owned.

Of course, this is when watching the appropriate media. (I was watching an UHD disk of a movie). Out of the box, menu was really cluttered with apps I didn't need (not subscribed to most) and unwanted ads. I deleted the unused apps to de-clutter. Remote is nice with a point-at-screen-and-click feature. However, the precision of the pointing is a tad off. You get used to it. My package came with an LG soundbar which worked with the LG TV remote, which is a huge plus and allows me to put away the soundbar's remote. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase

Movies look cinematic, sports are smooth, and gaming on this TV is next-level. The 120–144Hz support and HDMI 2.1 ports make it perfect for next-gen consoles and PC gaming. The design is sleek and modern, and despite being a 77-inch screen, it looks amazingly thin on the wall. The a9 AI Processor really does a great job upscaling older content, and webOS is fast, intuitive, and easy to navigate. Even the sound is better than I expected for built-in speakers, though I paired it with a soundbar for the full experience. Overall, this TV is a fantastic upgrade and genuinely feels premium in every way. I couldn’t be happier with the purchase — highly recommended!

I do like this product and it does have a very clear picture. I really wanted an OLED TV because of the crispness of the display. There are many features which, I guess, most people these days require of a TV set. However I and my partner are of an older generation who simply want a broadcast TV and have little use for streamed free or subscription services. Therefore the plethora of selectable services are an irrelevance to us. Further, the TV set takes an extraordinarily long time to boot and reminds us of the days of thermionic tubes and CRT's taking time to warm up. Hence the 4 star rating.

The perfect blacks and infinite contrast are still stunning to see, even if you’re used to the technology. Where the C5 really shines, and where I agree with the expert consensus, is in its brightness and color. Watching 4K HDR content (especially in Dolby Vision) is a transformative experience. Highlights pop with incredible vibrancy without washing out the rest of the image, and the color volume is outstanding. In my moderately bright living room, the C5's brightness is more than enough to provide a punchy, gorgeous image during the day, which is a huge step up from older OLEDs.
