The first time we turned it on I was like… okay wait, this is really nice. The picture is so clear and the colors don’t look fake or overly bright, just really natural. I’m not a tech person at all, but you can definitely tell the difference compared to a regular TV. The sound also surprised me — it’s way more immersive than I thought, we don’t even feel the need to add extra speakers right now. Now we use it pretty much every night, it just made staying in feel a lot better. I’d recommend it, especially if you care about picture quality. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered the TV on Nov 23 and was delivered on Dec 1. So, have been using this TV for about 2 weeks now. Love the picture quality and sound. TV sits on a stand in our living room. Colors are vibrant, lifelike, bright, and accurate. The ease of navigating apps and tv functions is also fairly easy to understand. On Xbox, everything feels smooth and responsive, and fast games don't get blurry. The TV itself looks clean and modern with super thin bezels. All in all a worthy upgrade from my older B series LG OLED. Thanks.

This one is everything i needed and more! The screen is huge and the TV is so thin, idk how they even do that. I love the AI adaptability with this TV, ive set it up to recognize my voice and used it to help personalize the visual settings to my preference. Everything loads really fast. The TV is heavy, so it needs two people for moving but other than that is super easy to get started. The sound quality on movies is amazing. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked this LG 77-inch mainly because LG has a strong reputation for display quality, especially with brightness and color accuracy—and this one definitely delivers on that promise. The first thing that stood out immediately was how insanely bright this TV is. Even during the day with sunlight hitting the room, the picture still pops without looking washed out. What surprised me most was how sharp and fluid everything looks, even regular streaming content. The upscaling is better than expected, and motion handling during sports or action scenes is super smooth. The interface is also faster than older LG models—no lag when switching apps. Overall, yeah, I’d recommend it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Posting after 6 days of use of the 77 inch version. So far, the TV has turned out to be spectacular. Blacks are deep pitch black as expected of an OLED. There are several settings for Picture and Sound. Of these the Cinema and/or Filmmaker mode gave use the best out-of-the box effect and we liked them. Colors look great and real in these modes (not over saturated neither dull). Hooking up a soundbar does help. It allows to play the sound through both the TV and the Soundbar simultaneously which gives a nice effect. We find it amazing how well it reproduces low quality content on such a large screen. We also like the remote which has a cursor mode by just pressing the settings/wheel button on it!  It also appears (but I am not sure) that LG automatically runs a pixel refresh after every 4 hours of usage which is nice to prevent OLED issues such as burn-ins. What can be improved?    Setting things like "audio delay" when using a sound bar with the TV. This was not intuitive and took a while to dig out. Another major issue is the inability to see how much disk space/memory does the TV have or how much space has all the apps/updates etc taken up, how to clean/delete memory (not just remove apps). Less memory can lead to lags and it is useful for me as a user to know how much space I have before I install apps. It would have also helped if the "OLED care" section in the settings were to let us know what LG is automatically doing in the background. This would prevent users from unnecessarily doing (repeating) tasks that can actually end up damaging the TV long term. With that said, it is perhaps true that solutions for the above are already there in the TV that we missed (although I looked for these closely). Afterall we could only spend so much time with it in the 6 days. That said, we commend LG for producing a high quality product. We only hope it is a durable one and will continue giving us outstanding viewing (and auditory) pleasure and good eye relief for many years to come.

The color is vivid and sharp. It's very thin and sleek too.Mounting service it came with was the top notch. I would recommend this TV for everyone.

If you're upgrading from an older LED or even a few-year-old OLED, you'll notice the difference immediately. That perfect, inky black level that only OLED can deliver is as stunning as ever, but LG has clearly kept pushing the brightness. While it's not quite the sun-gun that the high-end G5 is, the C5 is definitely bright enough to make HDR content truly pop, even in a moderately lit room. The picture quality is simply beautiful. Colors are rich and accurate, and thanks to the new Alpha 9 Gen 8 processor, motion handling is incredibly smooth. Watching a 4K movie in Filmmaker Mode (with Dolby Vision, naturally) feels like getting a private screening. The sense of depth and contrast is just unbeatable at this price point. Where the C5 truly shines is for gamers. With four full HDMI 2.1 ports, 144Hz VRR support, G-Sync, and an absurdly fast 0.1ms response time, this thing is future-proofed for the fastest PC and console gaming. If you own an Xbox Series X and want to take advantage of Dolby Vision Gaming, the C5 is a no-brainer. Everything is crisp, tear-free, and buttery smooth. Now for the few gripes. Firstly, if you're getting the smaller 42-inch or 48-inch models, you lose the full Brightness Booster technology and the anti-glare screen found in the 55-inch and up versions. That's a real shame for desktop users or those with smaller, brighter rooms. Secondly, the new remote design feels like a step backward. It's slimmer, but they moved the dedicated mute button to a long press on the volume rocker, which is just annoying when you need silence right now. Finally, while the WebOS smart platform is comprehensive, the push toward more AI features and a few intrusive home screen ads is a distraction on a premium television. You can disable the ads, thankfully, but it shouldn's be a thing in the first place. The Verdict: The LG C5 is the sweet spot in the OLED market. It delivers flagship picture quality and unmatched gaming performance. If you can stretch your budget for the 55-inch or larger size to get the full brightness boost, this is a TV that will absolutely dominate your living room entertainment for years to come.
