I am very disappointment with the brand new Trailmate cooler I received today. Upon inspection, I found the two screws that secure the bottom rail were completely loose and free-spinning, the threads were visibly stripped and filled with broken plastic. This is a product failure caused by thread stripping. It highlights a fundamental design flaw where screws are fastened directly into plastic, a poor choice for long-term durability. This method is simply unable to withstand the forces applied during use. The failure is a direct result of a design that prioritizes a simple, low-cost assembly over a more robust and enduring fastening method, such as using metal inserts or through-bolts, which would prevent this kind of issue.

The base functions of this cooler are solid. It holds a lot and keeps your items cold for a long time. But the handle stopped extending after just 2 or 3 uses. So it's no longer a mobile cooler and we can not use the table /tray feature. Cool idea but the bells and whistles didn't stay functional for very long.

This is the coolest cooler you will ever see! This was a gift for my son who recently bought a camping trailer. The cooler matches his trailer in looks and he loves it! The big wheels and handle make it super easy to move around. The cooler has many great features and he will enjoy it for years to come.

Was looking for a cooler for camping, hitting the beach, walking down to the lake to fish, and after a little research stumbled upon this cooler. Only thing it lacks are latches to keep it shut in case of a rollover and/or lock. I ended up installing the lockable latch. For the features and price, it should've already had. Silly engineers

I recently took the Trailmate Cooler on my camping trip several weeks ago, and I must say, the cooler exceeded my expectations. From its ease of mobility with the sturdy extended handle to its remarkable ice retention for a full 7 days (for real), this cooler proved to be an outstanding choice. Not only was it easy to clean and drain, but it also impressed me with its lightweight design. In all honesty, it's time to bid farewell to Yeti and welcome Igloo into my outdoor adventures. The Trailmate Cooler is a fantastic product that excels not only for camping but also for fishing and beach outings. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a reliable and versatile cooler.

Love everything about this cooler. Size, looks, handle and large wheels with clearance. It definitely needs some kind of locking for the lid that I am planning on adding very soon. And maybe upgrade the lid with some kind of thin rubber type of seal. . .

Overall, this is a monster of a cooler! It's huge, strong, easy to pull through sand, aesthetically pleasing and could go on. Have gotten MANY compliments! With that being said, I've run into two issues: 1. I had a piece of a hinge break off which has caused the door to fall over when open. It also does not close the door correctly. This has caused a headache when using of course because I have to make sure that the door is connected otherwise it just falls off. 2. The drain plug. Not sure what it is but I struggle putting mine on and have even cut my finger when trying to screw it on. Even when I get it on, it leaks water. So yet, another headache. Other than that, I can say I am pleased with the cooler! I love how it looks and how mobile I can be with it. I definitely didn't expect to deal with issues the first few times I got to use it but hopefully warranty/Igloo can help resolve.

When I opened the box I thought wow this is big. As I went through the cooler it felt real solid, the handle glides out real smooth and having a locking location for the butler tray was in a great place and out of the way. Also having the oversized tires helps with pulling over the terrain easy. It will be great for camping, bbqs and the beach.

I bought this cooler in January for our annual 2 week vacation in August. I used this cooler once so far, and noticed that it didn't keep ice cold for even a single beach day. When I inspected the cooler further, I noticed that there is a huge space between the lid and the cooler, making it so that air can easily get into the cooler and melt the ice. I've tried EVERYTHING to get rid of this space (clean the seal, see if there is something blocking it, etc) and nothing has fixed the gap in the lid. Even if I try and sit on the lid, once I get off the lid pops right back up! I'm very disappointed with this cooler as a cooler is only worth it if it actually keeps your stuff cold, which this one does not do.

LOVE this cooler and wish I would have grabbed 2 instead of 1 at the sale price. I have recommended this cooler to all my family and friends especially the ones who go fishing very often.. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for a similar sale to grab a few more of these bad boys.
