HDR is fantastic...bright highlights really pop without overwhelming the rest of the image, and scenes like a torch being carried on a dark night look almost lifelike, with the flame glowing against truly inky darkness. Moderate refresh rate makes movies, sports, and the casual videogames come to life. Once you go OLED you wont go back to LCD, QLED, or whatever new term they use to sugar coat it.

Picture quality: The picture is the main reason to buy it. Blacks are actually black, contrast looks great, and colors pop without looking fake. HDR content looks especially nice, and even really dark scenes still have good detail instead of turning into a gray blur. Gaming: For gaming, it’s been excellent. HDMI 2.1, low input lag, VRR — all the important stuff is here. On Xbox, everything feels smooth and responsive, and fast games don’t get blurry. Design: The TV itself looks clean and modern with super thin bezels. It looks high-end. It’s also super thin and I guess I need to be careful to not break it accidentally. Sound: Could be better, but I have a sound bar so it doesn’t really matter to me. Others: The AI voice sounds robotic.
