The 83-inch size is perfect for my family room, which gets a lot of natural light from 4 windows. I was concerned about brightness, but this OLED is more than bright enough—colors pop, blacks are deep, and contrast is fantastic. Plus, the TV is surprisingly slim for its size, which gives it a sleek, modern look that fits well with my decor. Gaming is a huge upgrade too. The HDMI 2.1 and 120Hz refresh rate make my PS5 experience smooth with no lag. Streaming content looks amazing with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support. The interface is fast, and the Magic Remote is super easy to use. While it’s decent for everyday use, I can tell that a soundbar would really take things to the next level. Overall, I’m really happy with this TV. It’s a big step up from my previous model, and the picture quality is stunning. I’m giving it 4.8 out of 5—just a small dip in sound stops it from being perfect.

After a month with the 77-inch LG C5, it’s become my do-it-all champ. **Picture: Perfect. Inky blacks make night games and dark shows look incredible, colors are rich but never cartoonish, and motion is buttery smooth, whether it’s a fast Premier League match or a 120 fps shooter. HDR movies (Dolby Vision) look stunning, and even regular cable looks sharper than it has any right to. **Gaming: It is ridiculously good, 4K/120 Hz, VRR, ALLM, and almost zero lag. I went from “pretty good” to “I can actually compete online” the day I plugged in the PS5. **Sound: This was the surprise. The built-in 40 W speakers with AI Sound Pro are crisp, voices are crystal-clear (no more subtitles for British shows!), and there’s decent bass for explosions and stadium crowds. It’s easily the best TV audio I’ve ever had out of the box. The LG C5 does that hands down. We have been missing a lot of the cool features that are available today like 4K, HDR 10, OLED, variable refresh rate, etc. Motion handling is excellent, thanks to a very fast response time. Whether watching sports, action movies, or gaming, everything feels fluid and blur-free. The color reproduction is vivid and accurate. Even in wide angle viewing, the screen holds up beautifully! there’s no significant color washout when you view from the sides. Overall, the LG OLED TV offers a luxurious viewing experience, especially for movie lovers and gamers. Its strengths in contrast, color, and responsiveness outweigh the minor trade offs, making it a top tier choice for anyone looking for truly premium picture quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great picture quality and immersive viewing experience at a 12' viewing distance. Well packed (It's a giant box), easy enough to get mounted up on the wall, and very thin. I was pleasantly surprised by the built in webos interface for how responsive and intuitive it is to navigate with the magic remote. So far we haven't felt the need to install an external media viewer, and are going to stick with the built in app. I like the customizable picture settings with being able to tune in sharpening, upscaling, gamma, color temp etc. The brightness is more than sufficient for my fairly dark living room, and I even turned down the max brightness a little given our environment. If you're in a dark room, you really don't need the brighter models. I didn't expect much form the built-in speakers, so I paired it with an old soundbar with the intention of upgrading it later.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my LED TV for a long time and decided to upgrade. And it was worth it! Colors are super vivid, bright and black contrast is outstanding. I was watching one of those animal documentary videos and you can see every single hair strand and tiny little flies. Technology is truly amazing. I'm finally able to take advantage of those 4K options in my streaming services. I'm still trying to fiddle around with the settings to get that perfect setting but since TV comes with a lot of options and customization, it's going to take time. I also got a great deal from LG with a bundle package so I actually bought it with no regrets.

Of course it has perfect blacks being an oled but so much brighter. Also have it connected to my Sonos arc and now get Dolby atmos through the ears which the old tv did not have. Very happy with my purchase.

Build quality appears to be solid as material of frame and base are metal vice plastic compare to other TVs in the market. Following Rting for calibration. Color saturation is good in both bright and dark rooms. I'd like to stick with realistic pictures thus opted for Dark Room Expert mode vice Vivid. Set up process is mostly painless and logical. Interface could improve to make selecting input source easier. Sound quality is average. Not really impressed with AI Pro sound mode. Stuck with Cinema. Overall, it has been good thus far after few days of use. Hopefully it'll last for longevity.

The picture quality is stunning—deep, perfect blacks, vibrant colors, and incredible contrast that really make movies and games come alive. Brightness has noticeably improved compared to previous OLED models, which means it performs beautifully even in brighter rooms. Motion handling is excellent, and the TV’s upscaling makes even older content look sharp and clean. It is very good and Best TV for everybody.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought LG OLED77C5PUA recently during thanks giving holidays, and wow… it's cool thin with great picture quality Movies and shows look incredible. The blacks are actually black, colors pop, HDR content just hits different, and it really does give that “cinema” vibe. Brightness is better than my earlier TVs.. The built-in speakers are fine with good sound quality. The webOS interface is clean and fast, and all the streaming apps are right there. AI Picture/Sound modes are cool too—sometimes I leave them on, sometimes I tweak things myself. It’s super thin and looks slick on the wall. Definitely has that “premium” vibe.
