I often watch sports and action movies and I'm in awe of how good the content looks on this TV. One of my favorite features is how good that sound quality is on this unit as compared to my old TV. You can tell that LG really invested time in enhancing the quality of the audio from the TV alone. While I ordered a soundbar to go along with the TV; the audio from the TV alone is sufficient and you won't be disappointed.

The 77" screen completely changes movie nights – blacks are truly black, colors are rich without looking fake, and HDR content really pops. The newer OLED evo panel with Brightness Booster / “Bright Room Ready” holds up surprisingly well in my bright living room, which was my biggest concern going in. For gaming, this TV is a beast: 4 HDMI 2.1 ports, support for up to 4K/144Hz with VRR and ALLM, and super low input lag. My PS5/PC games look incredibly smooth, and the TV automatically switches into the right game mode. webOS is snappy, apps like Netflix/Disney+/Prime are built in, and the new Alpha 9 Gen 8 processor keeps everything feeling fast while also doing excellent upscaling on 1080p content. Pros: Incredible contrast and black levels Bright enough for a room with windows Fantastic for gaming (4x HDMI 2.1, VRR up to 144Hz, ALLM) Dolby Vision + Dolby Atmos support for movies Very thin, premium-looking design

The user interface is easy to use as well as fast. I have the TV placed in a sunny area and noticed that glare is not an issue at all. Overall great value for the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picture is amazing, but not light years better than my 2018 b8 oled like I was expecting. Definitely much brighter though. Main issue is the TV usually starts with the TV speakers everytime when I want it to use the ARC audio to my receiver. Also hdmi1 video was flickering with my fire TV cube but not on hdmi3. My switch seems to work fine on hdmi1 so not sure what to think.

The new processor does a great job upscaling lower-quality video, and motion is smoother too. The blacks and contrast are as great; HDR feels a bit brighter than on the CX. One thing I noticed right away is that the anti-reflective coating seems way better on the C5. Less glare, even with windows nearby, which is a big plus if you're watching in a bright room.

The picture quality is truly the best—colors look rich and lifelike, blacks are perfectly deep, and the contrast makes every detail stand out whether watching movies, sports, or gaming. Everything feels cinematic without any need for extra adjustments. The only drawback is the remote design. It would be much more convenient if there were a dedicated button just for changing to the last input use, such as a button to toggle between antenna and hdmi 1. Overall, this TV sets a high bar for image quality, and with a small tweak to the remote, it would be nearly perfect.

Even the sound is better than I expected for built-in speakers, though I paired it with a soundbar for the full experience. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had an LG OLED TV for about 7 years now (also a C model) but it turned out that our family room doesn't get as much action as our bedroom for TV watching. I've been so happy with it that I wanted to upgrade the bedroom, too, and see what kind of improvements have happened in the last few years in LG tech. This TV is absolutely amazing. It's noticeably brighter than my old one, which is important since we have south-facing windows in our bedroom. It seems like it doesn't glare as much for some reason as my older TV, although that could be just a lack of dust on the screen compared to the old one. The blacks are awesome and WebOS is very snappy compared to our previous Fire TV UI - even the older one is holding up better than recent Fire TV purchases, so I think WebOS is great and this TV is future proofed bigtime on that front. I've got it hooked up to my home assistant and I'm able to do basic controls there, although I haven't figured out yet how to open specific apps. Overall I'm super happy with it and wish I had upgraded sooner.
