The blacks are true and the contrast amazing. Also I’ve accidentally left things on the screen for days and haven’t had any burn in, to the point that I wonder if it’s a myth. Setup was really easy from the hardware to the initial setup. Everything is integrated with LG ThinQ and was a breeze. Apps were easy to find and install. The TV and its software is extremely responsive and there is hardly any Colors on this TV is absolutely amazing. The colors pop in both bright and dim lighting. The darks, especially blacks are very deep and you can really tell the quality of it. What makes this TV for me is that it has an amazing viewing angle and can be seen from all parts of the room with no change in quality. Overall, a great TV for the price! One thing that disappointed me was the lack of a mounting point for the Synergy bracket. On the smaller sizes this TV supports it, so I expected the 83” to have the same option. For a premium TV at this size and price point, it feels like something that should be included. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely inconvenient if you’re planning a full LG ecosystem setup. Other than that, it’s been great. I just wish they didn’t remove that feature on the biggest model.
