Umbrella holders seem pretty flimsy…and haven’t had a chance to actually use the thing yet. I’m expecting I’ll lose the umbrella attachments in time… seems like lid could’ve been a little larger with holes that would allow for holders? Just a thought

I am considering a return for this, unfortunately. For all the extra features Igloo gave this cooler, why wouldn't they add a latch to keep the lid closed? It isn't secure or airtight, and would probably benefit from a gasket too. Was willing to accept the fact that it isn't roto-molded but surprised that these other simple standards aren't here. It's the best looking cooler with wheels on the market, hoping it performs as promised.

I love this cooler's features. It doesn't keep ice long if it's not full is one of my complaints. We don't fill it up with ice, usually just enough to cover what's there, and it's usually melted by the end of the day on the boat. Large enough to hold all of our beverages and food. I love the serving tray under the lid. Cup holders on top do not hold popular mugs, or cans with koozies unless it's the tall skinny cans - that's also a disappointment. Overall it's a 4 star.

While longevity remains to be seen (some of it appears to be cheaply made), this cooler has more features presented in more useful and clever ways than any other cooler I’ve seen. LOVE the umbrella / fishing pole tubes. LOVE the wheels, the handle, the dry storage, and the cup holders. Ice only lasts 24-48 hours in the shade, but I rarely need ice longer than a day anyway so I don’t care about that. After using the Journey, I will sell my Yeti, which is way too heavy to be practical.

There is not a substantial handle to pick cooler up. The handle is just molded plastic that you can barely get your fingers under. Also, it didn’t perform well in actually keeping things cool as the ice melted fairly quickly. It looks cool and I do like the fact it can roll and the little table feature was nice. Just don’t see myself using it frequently and definitely won’t be back on the beach.

After owning several coolers in my lifetime, it’s safe to say this one ranks pretty high as far as utility, ease of use and cool little bonuses. The rugged wheels help keep the adventures going with little to no issues over different terrain. The capacity is amazing to carry as much as needed for a small family. My only regret is the build of the plastic moldings that hold the rear tire rod in place. There’s 3 small plastic moldings that hold the rod in place and in my case one broke off during the shipping process. Too lazy to ship it back for a replacement, I super glued it back in place. Other than that, the cooler is built like a tiny tank.

I really like the cooler and have gotten many compliments and questions about it. Myself and those who have questions agree that it is great for a large family or long outing, but a quick day trip to the beach for empty nesters needs a cooler about 1/3 the size smaller. Also, the wheels need to be enclosed and not open on the inside, the sand piles up on the inside of the wheel. Sadly, one of the 4 metal pins that connects the black handle to the silver telescoping part of the handle has fallen out. I am hoping that does not effect the function of the handle.

Cooler shipped quickly and without a scratch! Held up great on my recent camping trip and was definitely the talk of the coolers. No real complaints, but this cooler is bigger than you might think (takes up entire trunk of my outback) and I wish it had a gasket or latch to secure the lid. Love the wheels, handle, and butler tray though!!

I've actually really enjoyed this cooler for the last 5 years, however this year the plastic part that holds the axle on broke. It has a few screws holding it down, easy enough to get to, so I figured I'll just order a replacement. Nope. They don't offer these parts. The cooler otherwise works great but the portability is gone. For the cost, I would recommend going with another brand that offers better repairability

Cooler looks great. Has awesome features. But sometimes the lid doesn’t seem to close all the way and there is no latch or lock. The metal wire inside that holds the lid and prevents it from opening too far also coils up and gets in the way of the cooler closing correctly approximately 3 out of every 5 closes.
