I purchased this to go with my Serta Avesta King memory foam mattress/split king box spring set. I don't know if the BED is not as high, or if the FRAME is not as high, or if it is a combination of both, but when we put the new bed on the new frame, I feel like it's 6" lower than my previous queen bed. Not a huge deal - I purchased some bed risers (the verdict is still out on those...) and now the bed is where I feel it should be. I would caution folks to make sure they want a frame that is only 7" high, if their current frame is taller. Other than the height issue (which again, could be the BED and not the FRAME), I'm happy with the frame. It seems very sturdy, it doesn't move around, and after putting some Blue Can Lube on the joints, it's very quiet and squeak-free, even during Adult Time. I would definitely recommend this frame for it's weight and stability. Just check the height.

I have hemi cerebral palsy for reference. I had just gotten it and it left a powder on my hand, floor and walls immediately. I dropped it and it left a hole in the wall. Even with "easy" instructions it left me more frustrated than worth keeping or finishing putting together.

It is a study frame and works well.

Easy to put together and we're happy to have our bed off the floor...
