These tires have demonstrated exceptional handling capabilities. Road performance is superb, with unmatched wet and dry traction across various terrains. The tires appear to be durable, boasting an 80,000-mile rating. While the price point is slightly higher, the value proposition justifies the investment. This is undoubtedly a superior tire.

A couple of weeks ago i was stopped, checked a couple of times to see if it was clear to go ready to pull out across traffic when someone came flying out of nowhere. As soon as I saw him I hit the brakes, and he hit his. Luckily I stopped within inches of his car, I can only say how lucky I was to have such great tires on my car along with good brakes. Such a nice smooth ride, love my Defenders.

I would not drive my car without Michelin Tires (and I have two Cars) since I purchased the car new in 2006. I have all ways purchased the best tire they make for my cars and have had nothing but the best ride and performance I could get from tires. Never had a tire that was defective and I have outstanding mileage performance from the Michelin Brand.

I always buy Michelin tires for my travel and performance vehicles. They are tough, dependable and long lasting. This is the second set of Michelin tires I have purchased for the Explorer. The first set had shorter stopping numbers than the Defender, but I went with these based on the dealer recommendation. Plus these are 80k mile tires. I have not driven them in the rain to test stopping distance due to the recent drought in Texas. But I can say they stand up to the 100+ heat at highway speeds. I highly recommend Michelin tires.

This is my 3nd set of Michelin defender tires. They have all been excellent and gave me great tread life. The Defender 2 I just purchased are quiet and they handle great, much better than the tires that came with the car when they were new. I'm very pleased and I'm confident I will get the same milage from these as with past Michelin tires

I had just bought a new set of Defender 2 tires and was on a ride to test them out. My previous tire was the OEM Michelin Primacy Tour A/S with approximately 48,000 miles on a 20 Chevy Blazer RS. The ride was very nice, firm but comfortable. I was, so far, impressed with the handling on a damp road and enjoying the new sneaks. As fate would have it, it began raining buckets and this I thought would separate the wheat from the chaff. I was driving in the granny lane, on a limited access highway at the posted speed limit of 65mph.when a brief but sudden loss of control event occurred called Hydro-Planning.. All of a sudden the car hit a fairly large gutter puddle that caused the vehicle to swerve dramatically. It was a frightening 2 or 3 seconds while feeling powerless other than going for the ride. Steering into the hydro-plane, and to my relief, the Defender 2s quickly took hold of the road and straightened me right out. Having put on about 30 miles on the new Defenders, they really showed me what they are capable of, and I am glad to have them. On this rainy day, the Defender 2s performed excellently.

I replaced the factory Michelon's on my 2015 HONDA Odyssey with a new set of the same tire. Why change what has worked so well for the last 10 years! I couldn't be more pleased. They improved the handling of the vehicle...I had 65K on the last set...and the new set is smooth and quiet. I definitely will buy again.

I love my tires. I was distressed because we had a flat tire in the high-speed lane. We were concerned about replacing it. We were blessed to find a great company that replaced all four. We got a front-end alignment. I feel like I'm driving atop of the line Cadillac. My Highlander has always been a great ride, but the tires have made it a dream, and they look great. Bravo

I was looking for a “quiet” tire and Michelin Defender II answered the call. Because of excessive “road noise” I was hearing AFTER I replaced my tires three year ago I thought I needed new rear wheel bearings. Due to the cost, I “road it out” with the last set of tires. Recently I decided to get new tires then replace the bearings. I drove a block on the new Michelin Defender II's and amazingly the “road noise” was gone! I highly recommend Michelin Defender II if your looking for a quiet and dependable tire.

Great tire, absolutely 0 smooth-road noise, but I notice a reactionary thump over a certain type of road ripple, most likely due to the fact that the suspension was tuned for the Yokohamas that my van was designed with. I chose Michelin for their legendary safety record and I also lucked in to a tire with a long tread life. The original Avid tires had worn to a concerning tread depth at only 56 000 KM.
