We have owned at least three other stick vacuums since having young children and this one is by far the best! We purchased other vacuums based on a lower price point and online reviews, with each being an off-brand choice. I was really pleased to see the comparable price point of the Bissell PowerLifter Turbo. This vacuum has excellent suction with my favorite feature being the front suction capability. This is perfect for getting all the way up to the baseboards and under kitchen cabinets. No other stick vacuum we've tried had this feature. The multiple levels of suction are a nice feature when you really need a boost, however, the medium setting is my preferred level. Low setting doesn't seem to have enough suction power and the high setting is good for really dirty spaces but the higher pitch noise is off-putting. I use it most on medium. The attachments are basic and what you would expect with any vacuum. One long and skinny option for hard to reach spaces and one wider with a brush option. I was really happy that the wider brush option fit perfectly between my stair banisters. The vacuum is lightweight and even my youngest, three year old, can use it to help clean up the house. My only gripe with the design is that the vacuum tends to revert back to it's upright and 'locked' position for storage as you are maneuvering it around to clean. When this happens, I have to push it back down with my foot so that it can continue working against the floor. It's a minor issue and could easily be fixed on the next model. Lastly, the detachable charger is nice for easy charging. You can easily detach the battery to charge in an inconspicuous space. My preference would be a docking station. This is not a deal breaker at all and still compares much better than some stick vacuum charging options. Overall, this is an excellent vacuum and is proving it's worth as I follow around three young children.

The different vacuum heads are great (though my box was missing one head) and my kids fight over who gets to vacuum. It's more fun to use than I expected. It was only ok picking up crumbs in the car, but works great on the floor and on upholstery. Definitely makes cleaning easier. I'm not someone who vaccums for a long time but the battery dies super fast. Doesn't even last for 30 minutes it seems like. I purchased 2 batteries so I could actually vacuum upstairs and downstairs. Suction is great though and it's pretty lightweight.

With this vacuum I can clean up messes my toddlers make in a flash! This vacuum should be on every moms baby registry or their child's first birthday wish list. The ease in which I can clean up after my kids is unbelievable with this cordless vacuum. I've never owned a cordless vacuum because I figured it wasn't that much harder to just plug one in however, I'm so much more relaxed about messes now that I don't have to lug out my standard corded vacuum every time there is a mess (15+times a day ). It's super lightweight, my 3 year old can use it. It fits in and under small spaces really well and it's rather quiet too. Cracker crumbs? sure! Sand in your pants? No problem! Smashed cereal in your car seat? I can get it out with the crevice tools! A relaxed mom about messes definitely makes for a happier family all around. The charge holds well for our small 1000sqft house. We charge it probably every other day with about 15 uses a day and a multi full room vacuum once a day. Cons: This vacuum is great at catching crumbs and cleaning on top of carpet and hard surfaces however I feel I still need my standard vacuum to really turn my carpet and get a deeper clean 1-2 times a month. My house is 100+ years old so it's likely just a personal problem but I wish it were a bit thinner of a vacuum head as it doesn't go under my cabinet ledge. ( I can get this area with the crevice tools thought!) Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stick vacuum I am one happy mama !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the little vacuum that could.. do everything I needed! The battery lasts a long time and charges pretty fast. The accessories are perfect for everything I need and the main roller is amazing! It is able to maneuver so flat that I can do under the beds so easily! I loved the light on it so i can see all the dust and that it sucked it all up, usually on just one roll. It's lightweight and you don't have to hold down on the button for power! I love the different attachments too. It's all so convenient for the whole house or quick clean ups.

Bought for my college student’s 1st apartment. Was going to give her my old Dyson v8 stick but she didn’t want it! After using the bissell to help clean before move-out, I’m impressed! I’m buying one for myself. I have hated our Dyson v8 since around the six month mark and prior to that only liked it a little. So I bought a plug in shark rocket to replace for home. Love it, but cord is inconvenient for certain things. This bisell will be a great addition to our home! Works well, cleans easy, the battery pops off to charge versus the Dyson battery which was a pain in the butt to replace and vac would go dead quickly if not on charger. Also don’t need to hold the power button to keep it running—I like the Dyson, which was painful on the finger. The suction is great, tools are easy to use, and it’s much lighter and easier to clean than the Dyson was. FTR if you want a stick vac with a cord, we do love our shark rocket. It’s excellent and easy to use. Just heavier and cumbersome for stairs, vehicles, and other odd areas. A battery powered stick vac was missed for those things.

Having a stick vacuum to quickly clean up can be absolutely essential, which is where the Bissell PowerLifter Turbo comes into play. Since receiving this from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, my kids have shown more interest in vacuuming than they ever have before. It's amazing! We've had every kind of vacuum you can think of, but it's always been like pulling teeth to get the kiddos to help out. Now, they almost argue with who gets to use the vacuum, it is every mother's dream come true! This vacuum is very strong and powerful as well, so it makes quick work of all the cracker crumbles or pet hair that seems to always be laying around, no matter how many times a day we clean. The way this vacuum allows us to spot clean is absolutely a game changer. It is lightweight, easy to maneuver, and cordless. It would truly be the perfect vacuum if it weren't for a couple misses. First, there is no stand with the vacuum and it is very top heavy when the battery is attached. This can lead to it just falling over with the slightest bump. I wish there was a stand to hold not only the vacuum, but also the accessories. You can turn this into a handheld vacuum with the accessories, which is amazing, provided they don't get lost. A stand would solve for all of this, or a wall mount. Second, the battery life is substantially worse than I expected. I can charge the vacuum all night, and the battery still won't last longer than 30 minutes throughout the day. Third, this vacuum cannot work on a rug. Anytime I try to go over my rug, the suction of the vacuum is too strong and it immediately causes the vacuum to auto shut-off. Is this vacuum still worth picking up? Definitely. But could it be better? Absolutely.

It helps pick up all the dust and the light attachment makes it easy to spot any hard to see messes. My only note would be that the battery can run out somewhat quickly at times so I would still recommend a plug in vacuum for larger apartments/houses.

This stick cordless vacuum replaced my old vacuum cleaner and I was happy with the results. The suction and cleaning performance worked really great as it was powerful and pulled everything up from my carpets and floors. As a cordless vacuum, I was able to move around the house and go through different rooms to clean, with no issues of worrying if the plug can stretch far out. The removeable battery was also convenient and the vacuum was easy to turn on and off. It's a light vacuum so it's easy to lift and move around with ease. The three cleaning modes is an excellent factor for me as I was able to adjust accordingly to where I used it. I was able to use it as a hand vacuum to clean corners and places where I couldn't reach, as well as in my vehicle. I also like the dusting brush with the extension wand as I could clean high on the walls and in the corners. The LED headlights was a win for me as I could see the dusts and debris that I missed. The noise level was quiet and soft so I could vacuum late at night without disturbing my household from their sleep. As a household with pets, this vacuum worked amazing when picking up dog and cat hairs that were all over on the couch and carpets. The easy way to empty the dirt container was also convenient and there was no dust falling out when throwing in the trash can. Compared to my other vacuum this one is better for me, and I would highly recommend this to friends and family. I'm sure they would like it as much as I liked it. An amazing cordless stick vacuum that I'm really impressed with coming from an excellent brand. Kudos to this brand for making such a wonderful cleaning product.

I had this vacuum for 4 months until it stopped working. I can charge the battery for as long as I want but no matter what it won’t work. It was amazing up until it stopped working. I’ve taken care of it as well and cleaned it and the filters out after every use.
