Picks up so much more than I expected, and with the light on the front you can actually see how much it picks up. Downside is the battery, no where near the approximate 40 minute run time it claims, more like 15 minutes tops. Before buying I read the instruction manual which shows this model coming with a hanging charger port, which it does not. Not cool. I reached out to Bissell and they reached out by saying to read what comes in the box, It's on the inside of the box! Besides the battery it does work very well. Another battery is 60.00 bucks for a spare. Happy cleaning

I have all hard floor surfaces in my home with a few large low-ply area rugs. The suction of this vacuum exceeded my expectations, especially for a cordless machine! It's incredibly quiet and easy to maneuver, I'm able to clean under furniture with ease. I have yet to find a mess that this vacuum hasn't tackled (including sand my toddler tracked in from the sandbox). I also enjoy using it in the car for a quick refresh. The 3 power modes offer major suction, I find myself hardly ever using the highest power, the other 2 are powerful enough. I'm also a huge fan of the vac's LED lights, which help me see debris that I did not see with the naked eye, resulting in much cleaner floors. I have already boasted about this vacuum to my friends and family and I think it would make an amazing housewarming/anytime gift. Got today and was humbled by the light feature showing how much my previous vacuum was missing. Suction is top tier but battery life was minutes, despite charging for at least two hours first. Not sure how to store, definitely overlooked that aspect. I guess I expected it to hook to itself like my Shark.

Its easy click in parts (Removable Lithium-Ion Battery, Removable Extension Wand, Removable Hand Vacuum, Removable Hand Vacuum, Easy Empty Dirt Tank, Tangle-free Brush Roll) make it optimal for use inside or outside of the home when tackling virtually any size mess. Its super light, the suction is top tier, and its super versatile. As soon as i assembled it I tested on carpet and on LPV, the roller scooped all of the crumbs from my littles with ease. When i was done i was able to quickly pop off the Easy Empty Dirt Tank, dump, and go. If you've not already purchased this is your sign to buy!

Bought for my college student’s 1st apartment. Was going to give her my old Dyson v8 stick but she didn’t want it! After using the bissell to help clean before move-out, I’m impressed! I’m buying one for myself. I have hated our Dyson v8 since around the six month mark and prior to that only liked it a little. So I bought a plug in shark rocket to replace for home. Love it, but cord is inconvenient for certain things. This bisell will be a great addition to our home! Works well, cleans easy, the battery pops off to charge versus the Dyson battery which was a pain in the butt to replace and vac would go dead quickly if not on charger. Also don’t need to hold the power button to keep it running—I like the Dyson, which was painful on the finger. The suction is great, tools are easy to use, and it’s much lighter and easier to clean than the Dyson was. FTR if you want a stick vac with a cord, we do love our shark rocket. It’s excellent and easy to use. Just heavier and cumbersome for stairs, vehicles, and other odd areas. A battery powered stick vac was missed for those things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me tell you how much I love the PowerLifter Turbo!! Between our 3 kids, their sandbox, and our cat, we have plenty of vacuuming going on. I wasn't sure what to expect from a cordless stick vacuum, and my first attempt was a full cleaning of the downstairs. This is not meant to replace your full size vacuum for a deep clean. That said, this PowerLifter beauty is amazing for spot cleaning, and "odd" cleaning. It's lightweight and easy enough to use that my 4 year old volunteers to clean up after meals or sandbox time. It's not a silent whisper (it's a vacuum!), but it's definitely not loud - it doesn't scare my kids. It has enough suction power to handle picking up anything I threw at it. Plus it is incredibly maneuverable - I was able to get into corners of the kitchen I normally skip. With a removeable center tube, you can make the vacuum compact, which was awesome for the carpeted stairs. Way easier than lugging the big beast up and down. Additionally the compact size and multiple attachments enabled me to clean the entire minivan, including the carseat and cupholders. Now, for unexpected uses, we absolutely used this bad boy to clean off the trampoline, get sand out of a toddlers hair (yup, totally works), and I love it for around the litterbox. It keeps things just clean enough throughout the day that I don't feel like the house is a wreck if someone walks in. I would absolutely recommend the PowerLifter Turbo to my friends and family, and already have. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure what to expect from a Bissel vacuum since these days they don't seem top of the line with other brands like Shark and Dyson out there. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to set up. It had very few pieces which made cleaning and assembling very easy. I also loved the light on it. My current vacuum does not have a light and I didn't realize what I was missing. It did an amazing job on my rugs and I liked the feature where it automatically turns off if it starts sucking up the rug too much. The trigger to turn it on and off is also really convenient. Another big plus was how slim the vacuum was. For the first time in years I've been able to get a vacuum under my bed to suck up all that dust. I loved how the different attachments worked as well. It was also very convenient and lightweight to use. My only critique would be that the battery life is short and it takes a long time to charge. I fully charged the battery (let it go overnight) and vacuumed my small 1000 sq ft apartment and it lasted, but I went back the next day and the battery was dead. Additionally, it was kind of a pain to have to remember to remove the battery and charge it vs being able to put it in a dock. However, I did like that there was the option to remove the battery because I do not have a plug in the closets and have no idea where I would place a dock. My last critique is that it would be nice if there was an easier way to stand the vacuum up. It always seems to be falling over to one side when I prop it up against the wall. I did see in the manual that Bissell sells wall units that you can attach to, so that probably would solve this problem for storage, but for simply resting the vacuum while it is out, it is hard to do. Overall, I'm really impressed and look forward to using this vacuum going forward. My mother even said that is is very comparable to her Dyson that she spent a fortune on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I owned a Dyson stick vacuum and was skeptical that the Bissell could be as good given the difference in cost. However, the Bissell has some unique features like the light on the vacuum head and being able to click the button to turn on vs needing to keep the hand on the trigger that make it unique & attractive vs the Dyson. It's also nice to be able to remove the battery to charge instead of having the plug in the entire machine.

I was so excited for how light weight and easy to maneuver this vacuum was, however it does not do well with pet hair at all. I could not tell you how fast the canister fills up before you have to empty it because it clogged literally every 30 seconds. I would go and vacuum my whole living room and move onto the hallways before I realized it was clogged. Not knowing when it got clogged I would have to do the living room all over again. I started constantly checking if it was clogged and it would be almost instantly. I couldn't get anything done. It would clog at the base, it would clog at the entrance to the dirt canister. I would have to stick straws down the tubes to unclog it every couple minutes if I wanted to vacuum (which I do twice a week) and it was just a clump of pet fur every time. Very strongly do not recommend if you have a kind of animals.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerLifter Turbo is one of the best lightweight vacuums I have ever used. One thing that sets it apart, are the LED lights on the front making the fact that it's small enough to fit under most furniture even better. Dirt has no chance to hide! It has great suction for a vacuum this size and maintains a charge for a reasonable time. Only complaint I wish the canister was larger to allow for longer use before having to empty it. The power level adjustment was nice to have and it was surprisingly quiet compared to others in the same size category. I would highly recommend this stick vacuum for anyone. It is a stick vacuum so it does have problems with high pile carpet but works great in all other areas it was used in. Our larger Bissell is great for the carpeted areas though.
