It works well for light messes on hard floors, it is lightweight, and I found the removable battery to be convenient. The overall feel of the vacuum material is nice, and it doesn't feel cheap. The vacuum does not come with the wall mount pictured on the box and instructions, which was disappointing. Especially since there is no way to neatly store this vacuum without the mount. With that being said, I personally would not buy and keep this vacuum. The suction is not the worst and works well enough on fine particles, like sand and dog fur, but the vacuum does not have the clearance to pick up anything bigger, i.e. cereal. The battery life is horrible for any extended cleaning, like an entire house, and takes a very long time to recharge. The swivel is stiff, awkward, and not easy to use, even after multiple uses. The buttons and attachments require a bit of force when taking the vacuum apart/switching between attachments. The canister is easy to empty and the filter works well, but I am not a fan of the design. This vacuum would be decent for a small home or apartment, but I wouldn't recommend it for those with small children. I own a stick vacuum from a competitor with a similar price point that I am much happier with. Overall, I would not recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have owned several cordless vacuums over the years, but they just didn't have enough power to really clean well. So I was absolutely floored by this Bissell Powerlifter Turbo stick vacuum's performance. Within 5 minutes of opening the box, we had it assembled and running - the design is super intuitive, both for switching out tools and dumping the dust compartment. I was shocked by how much dirt it lifted off our living room rug, which had been vacuumed only 24 hours before! It is amazingly quiet even on the highest power, so I can easily converse with my kids or hear a podcast while cleaning up messes. And speaking of kids - they LOVE that this vacuum is lightweight and easy for them to use, even carrying up and down stairs! It works great on all flooring types, including small throw rugs (which I never could get clean using other vacuums). My husband even used it to vacuum out his car and it did great for that as well. I love how easy it is to maneuver around furniture, so it's easy to spot clean as needed - and with three kids and two cats, we have plenty of messes. Now our house is cleaner than ever and for the first time in my life, I don't dread vacuuming - that's something of a small miracle! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this vacuum through the Stellar Review Panel and as a mom with three kids three and under AND a cat in the house I was very excited to try a new vacuum cleaner. I love my PowerLifter Turbo and use it almost every day, but it does have some design flaws. On the plus side I loved how lightweight and maneuverable it is, how easy it is to empty and clean the canister, and the bright LED lights on the front are super helpful with spotting anywhere I missed. It also does a great job with the pet hair and dust. On the negative side the battery doesn't last long enough to do the whole house (and I don't have a big house) and then takes hours to recharge, there is no way to hang up the vacuum and it doesn't stand up on its own so storage is an issue, and the vacuum head doesn't sit high enough up off the floor to effectively pick up Cheerios or fish crackers. If you have a small apartment and no kids this could be an amazing, lightweight, compact, vacuum cleaner with a beautifully sleek design. If you have a normal sized house and kids this vacuum might not be as helpful for you as another, more Cheerio-gobbling, model might be.

It swivels well and is compact. The one minus is that it doesn't stand on its own and needs to lean on something. The battery is good and lasts but I had to charge it after two days. Overall happy with its performance and easy to remove trash

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this vacuum on hardwoods and carpets and I love it! I've used almost every attachment and it never looses suction. The battery was charged when I first got it and I have used it 4/5 times with no need to recharge. Conveniently there is a battery indicator near the hand held part of the machine. I cleaned the couch, baseboards, under dressers and beds and even a macaroni mess. Seeing the dirt (including glitter strands and pasta) twirl in the waste receptacle is oddly satisfying. The waste bin is very easy to remove, take apart and wash. The attachments were great for every job. I have joint issues so I was nervous about being able to hold it for long periods of time but it's super lightweight and I had zero issues. This vacuum does not disappoint. The lightweight, cordless awesomeness means it can clean all over the house and take it to the car and patio.

I have all hard floor surfaces in my home with a few large low-ply area rugs. The suction of this vacuum exceeded my expectations, especially for a cordless machine! It's incredibly quiet and easy to maneuver, I'm able to clean under furniture with ease. I have yet to find a mess that this vacuum hasn't tackled (including sand my toddler tracked in from the sandbox). I also enjoy using it in the car for a quick refresh. The 3 power modes offer major suction, I find myself hardly ever using the highest power, the other 2 are powerful enough. I'm also a huge fan of the vac's LED lights, which help me see debris that I did not see with the naked eye, resulting in much cleaner floors. I have already boasted about this vacuum to my friends and family and I think it would make an amazing housewarming/anytime gift. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought I was vacuuming before. I was not. The canister picked up so much dust! I used it on bare hardwood floor was well as carpeted stairs and low pile rugs. What a game changed. Vacuuming stairs has been a nightmare. I'd lug my corded cleaner up each step and attempt to clean. Or, I'd try to use a hand vac. This was 10 times easier. The power lifter is so light that now I don't mind doing the steps and clean them every few days instead of my dreaded weekly appointment. The way it can be used as a multi tool hand vac is just icing on the cake!

The battery lasted not even 10 minutes and the suction isn’t even that great. I’m returning the item tomorrow and going back to Tineco products. My Tineco I already have can clean my entire house including the corners of my ceiling for cobwebs and cleaning my furniture. I wasn’t even able to clean my tiny living room floor with the Bissell before the battery died. The only reason I bought this is because I wanted a new vacuum as my previous Tineco is old and my Walmart didn’t have the one I wanted in stock so I settled for this one. It’s heavier, bulkier and the battery is HORRIBLE. Don’t be like me and make this mistake. Just buy a Tineco cordless vacuum or find a Walmart with them in stock and save yourself the trouble.

So here's the thing: I love the idea of this vacuum and it has some great features, but it did not meet my expectations. Some positives- very strong suction. Which is great unless you have a rug (that isn't attached to the floor) because it literally picks up the rug while vacuuming. That said, works great on hardwood and carpet. Other big positives-Super easy to clean (and set up in general was a breeze). I love the portability, battery life and the quiet output. In terms of maneuverability, it was awkward making turns and I had to reverse to get it to go where I wanted it to. Other negatives: the heavy battery is located at the very top where you hold the vacuum and it can tire out your wrist if you are doing more than a quick (couple minute) cleanup. I like it, I don't love it enough to recommend to a friend.
