Skeptic Turned Convert
I was a skeptic and didn't see how a bulkier wagon could replace a seemingly more streamlined stroller, but I am now on the wagon train. I had a single stroller with poor storage space but was really easy to collapse and store, so that's where I'm coming from with this review. I have really enjoyed transitioning to the Safety1st Wagon, particularly due to the quality of the materials and abundant cargo space. I currently have two kids: 5 & 2, with another on the way. Both fit comfortably in the wagon with both canopies up, and my kids are tall so that's a win. We do not have a compatible car seat (Chicco keyfit 30) for the infant car seat adapter, but it still kind of works - it just doesn't "click" when I set it in. It would be better if the option to buy other car seat adapters was available, but they limit you to the one they sell. There is a foot-well at the bottom that is leather, so we'll see how that material holds up. I probably would have preferred a more polyester material that can be easily wiped down, but I will say it zips off very easily for the inevitable crushed leaves, crackers, and water that get in there. It can also zip up to make the wagon completely flat, which is a bonus for hauling purposes. I took it to the beach with my kids to haul the cooler, floaties, chairs, and towels and everything somehow fit and it maneuvered well in the sand. For me, the feature I particularly love about this wagon is the bonus compartment you can attach to either end. It is spacious to hold water bottles and jackets, while also freeing up space in the actual wagon. I thought I would love the parent caddy that attaches to the handles, but it is not very sturdy and has two main compartments that make it hard to hold a water bottle unless it's sideways. If it had one or two water bottle sections and was made of a stiffer material, then I could actually use it. I received this product as part of the Stellar product testing panel.
So Functional and Fun!
I received this wagon through the Stellar Product Panel for an honest review. We love the stroller wagon! Here are my top pros of the wagon: amazing shade coverage, comfortable seats, and spacious enough for my super tall 18 month old and 6 year old. The wagon folds down to a compact size, the handle is adjustable, and there is so much storage. The wheels and handle make steering and maneuvering a breeze. Both our girls love the wagon and I love how nice their seats are with the included foot area. My only criticism of the wagon is the parent storage attachment at the top. It lacks a structured cup holder area. However, my favorite feature of the wagon is the full coverage sun protection. Something I haven't seen in similar products. I have already recommended this wagon to others based on our experiences and look forward to our morning walks with it each day!
Decent waggon needs a few future improvements
After seeing this waggon in the store, it was one of the only waggons that had the foot area that you had the ability to zip up and flash surface so they can lay down. Find a little bit tricky to get that sorted out I appreciate it. I’m not a huge fan is that the canopies are said to come together or overlap and assist keeping light rain or the sun out. There is a gap between the front and the back canopies when they’re both fully extended and it really seems like a corner. If anything there should be one side that might have a magnet flap that you can go over to the other just to seal it off and it has a quick release because it’s magnet but I’d say that that’s one of the most disappointing feature on this. It does fold up relatively small, which is nice in this area of collapsible wagons. I’d say that it’s not too bad. It gives you two cases that you can put things into one clips onto the front of the back really nice however there’s another one that goes on the strap top. There’s a little bit more difficult and doesn’t really look nice hanging. Again, it’s something that with a little bit of tweaking could be a great product but as of right now, I can’t say that it’s my favourite feature on the waggon. I feel that if you can grab it on sale, I think you won’t be disappointed. Just a few things that I’m not a huge fan but other things that make it one of the best waggons on the market that’s why I give it a thing in the middle is their.

Great wagon loved by the whole family!
What a great wagon! Our whole family loves this wagon, especially my 2 year old son. My son loves the wagon so much that he asks to play in it inside the house when we're not using it outdoors. I live in Texas in a hilly neighborhood with different types of terrain, and the wagon handled them all well. It's an extremely smooth ride on pavement and sidewalks, and the wide back wheels handle hills and rocky terrain well and give the stroller stability. I'm also a big fan of several safety features of the wagon: the canopies provide 50+ SPF, both seats have seatbelts, the brake is super easy to use and works well, and the stroller is deep so my son could never fall out or easily jump out. My son really loves the tray in the wagon for snacks, bringing toys along, and having his water. And I love the creative storage solutions that go on the front of the wagon and the handle. The handle also easily adjusts, pushes easily, and folding the wagon is super easy. For a large wagon, it folds pretty compactly and it easily fits in my trunk. Everything about this wagon makes it easy and fun to use! The only "negatives" are the size and weight of the wagon, but it's completely worth it because the wagon is so fantastic. I am so grateful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this wagon. We can't wait to use it on more adventures!
Part 2: Almost Perfect Wagon Stroller
Adjustment 3: While the wagon boasts full sun protection from 2 large and vented canopies, I really wish they were a light color to better reflect the heat from the sun, as even with the ventilation, it quickly creates a sauna effect and they are often too hot to use. I think this will be a feature we use more when it's not 90+ degrees outside. Adjustment 4: As far as being an off-road wagon stroller, I would say it's definitely an off-road wagon, but not an off-road stroller. In fact, if you hit a slightly raised area of pavement, like a small curb at the end of a driveway, the uneven pavement forces this stroller to abruptly come to a stop. This has not been the case with the pull wagon function so I wish the front wheels were just a bit bigger. I have learned to rotate the handle to a wagon when I'm walking in a neighborhood where I'm on and off the sidewalk a lot. While there is certainly room for improvement, The Safety 1st Summit Wagon Stroller is still more convenient than most other strollers I have tried, and, my kids actually enjoy riding in it and find it more comfortable than other strollers. I also read that you can attach a car seat to it, so it's really the only stroller you'll ever need if you don't plan to have more than 2 stroller aged kids at the same time. I would recommend this wagon stroller for sure, especially at such a reasonable price point, but with a few tweaks, I'd probably shout of its glory from the rooftop!
Summit Wagon Stroller is perfect for outdoor family outings!
The storage capacity of Safety 1st Summit Wagon Stroller has made family outings a lot easier! We are able to fit our 15 month old boy, his diaper bag, and our picnic items and there was still extra room. I like the sleek look of this wagon stroller, it does not look big and bulky like some of the other wagon strollers I have seen. Also, it folds up so nice and compact for a two seater wagon stroller. My favorite feature is how easy it handles on rough terrain, we have an unused railroad track that has become a path and it went over the railroad ties pretty smoothly. I even had to make a turn on a grassy incline and it handled it without a problem. I can tell my son enjoys the seat because he is able to sit up straight and look around and has a little grin on his face. I would like it if the canopies had a little screen with a flap that could be put up or down. This would help me to see my son when I have the canopy up and would allow him to see out of the canopy. We are visiting our friends at the cabin this summer and the Summit Wagon Stroller will make the quarter mile trek to the lake and back so much easier! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller.
Daughter Loves It!
The Safety 1st Summit Wagon Stroller has a lot to offer! My favorite features are the ample storage space and the versatility of this wagon, and my 14 month old daughter loves the 360 degree view. I had been looking for a stroller wagon for awhile but worried about losing the large storage basket that our stroller has. This wagon sets all those fears aside as it delivers endless storage options: 4 pockets, a huge basket, a double sided snack tray, and a sizeable stroller caddy. While we only have one child for now, I have no concerns that this stroller will offer enough space for two kids. Another feature that makes this wagon a winner in our home is the adjustable height on the handle. My husband is one foot taller than me, so we have very different needs. The adjustable handle makes pushing or pulling equally comfortable for both of us. Finally, our daughter loves that she can see all the way around her. On walks, she loves tracking sounds and pointing out things she sees. She always appears happy and comfortable on walks. There are some things that make this stroller wagon a challenge, however. First, it is quite large. We have a compact SUV, and this takes up much of the hatch. The wagon is great for neighborhood walks, but I don't think I'd be able to take any out of town trips. Additionally, folding and unfolding the wagon is awkward. One final thing to note regarding the wagon is how it handles rougher terrain. Its larger wheels allow it to manage bumpier terrain well, but it wouldn't be appropriate for sand or large gravel as it shakes our girl around pretty bad with only a 3-point harness. Overall, this wagon has made walks a joy for each member of our family. We prefer it over our traditional stroller for our daily walks, and the storage is incredible. We look forward to using this for many years to come. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller wagon to test and review.
Amazing everyday stroller!
I'm extremely impressed with the Safety 1st Summit Wagon Stroller. This stroller is easy to maneuver and offers a 360 view for my children. It can seat two of my toddlers facing each other. Unlike my previous double stroller, this one is lightweight, sturdy and super easy to turn in all directions. As a busy mama on the go, this is very appreciated. This stroller has many convenient features such as a snacking tray with 2 cupholders, an awesome dual-canopy that shades from the sun, storage space with a large basket, plush seats, three-point harness, and adjustable handlebar. The stroller was easy to assemble and took less than 15 minutes. I really appreciate how well the stroller moves on all types of terrain - rock, grass, pavement, hill etc. We take frequent trips to the park and this was easy to maneuver even in rocky areas. The stroller is super easy to clean and fold. The only thing it is lacking is a cup holder for myself. I bring water with me everywhere, so I would've appreciated a cup holder. Nonetheless, this stroller is packed with many convenient features, is affordable, very sturdy and high-quality. I can tell it will last a long time and I definitely recommend it! I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
Amazing stroller wagon at great value
With a second baby on the way, a wagon was high on my wish list. I had done a lot of research on wagons prior to receiving the Safety 1st Summitt Wagon as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I love this stroller wagon! I love all of the features from the footwell (which can be zipped out and removed for cleaning), push to pull handle, telescoping handle for height adjust, and the large canopies that completely cover the riders. Really appreciate that it comes standard with accessories like the storage basket, parent console, and double sided snack/drink tray. They're all pretty sturdy and easy to use. I like putting the storage basket on the parent side of the stroller and found that it was pretty slim and I didn't bump into it too much while pushing the stroller--I'm 5'3" so if you're taller than me having the storage basket on the parent side is no problem at all. It takes some time getting used to closing and opening the wagon, but the mechanism seems pretty standard for similar stroller wagons. I loved how it is able to stand folding as well. You can leave the snack tray on when folding but would have to remove the storage basket. This is a big stroller, as are all double strollers, so it takes up significant room in the trunk but folds up pretty compact despite how big it is. I was pleasantly surprised with how it fit in the trunk of my mid sized hatchback with room in to spare. Weight wise, I found it mangeable to lift up and down from the car even at 8 months pregnant. It rides pretty smooth and the big wheels go over bumps easily. I've used it on pavement, cobblestone, and gravel with no problem. Overall, this is a wonderful stroller wagon with great features, a smooth ride, and is a steal at this price point. It feels like it is very sturdy and will last for a long time. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a stroller wagon!
One wagon to rule them all
Thanks to Stellar Panel for providing me with this product for review. Overall, we loved this wagon. It made going to the park, picnicking, and just general days out so easy and convenient. The size is great! Cart my kids too and from and once they were in the car I would use it to get all my other stuff ( coolers, blankets, outdoor chairs) back to the car also. The wagon storage capabilities are pretty good, especially if you are hauling around 1 kid. Not only do you get all the extra space for in the wagon l, but then there is a nice little parent storage bag that hangs on the handle for easy access to your phone, wallet, sunscreen, or snacks. You can fit a lot in it. And then there is the big basket that can attach to either the front or back of the wagon. This thing has you covered from diaper bags, bottles, toys, jackets, and everything else. Definitely creates a lot of extra space! Getting around with this wagon is a breeze, especially with the ability to pick if you want to push or pull. The the large wheels also come in clutch, the get over most every type of uneven sidewalks or tree roots without any hassle. My favorite feature is how compact the wagon is when folding. The ability for it to fold "squarely" was awesome too. My old stroller took up the entire length of my trunk while this one takes up about half! Aka MORE COOLER SPACE ??
