Home Run Inn(HRI) Sausage Pizza is a steadfast standard on your grocery store's shelf. The sausage is a classic that stands the test of time. While other Pizza producers save money by sourcing cheaper and inferior ingredients to increase their bottom line, Home Run Inn keeps with TRADITION. An HRI Sausage Pizza taste exactly as it did when I had it for the very first time over 20 years ago. In an world that seems to change week to week, at least he had the consistency and please of this classic. This Pizza King reigns over all others in the Frozen section but also in the hearts of whoever tries this tasty treat.

I live hundreds of miles from the nearest Home Run Inn, but the frozen pizza is the next best thing. This one was kind of special in that I bought it to eat on the anniversary of my dad’s passing. Growing up, my family went to Home Run Inn a lot, and it became a staple when I moved out of state for my job. Whenever I would visit my parents, we would always go. We have many happy memories there. This sausage pizza was excellent and brought back a lot of great memories of time with my dad. While it is not quite the same as the fresh baked ones in the restaurant, it is extremely close.

My son and I always have one in the freezer at all times. It’s are quick go to meal or snack. When we can’t figure out what we want to eat for supper, the Classic Sausage is always on the ballot for our choice! Not to mention, this isn’t anything new to me, because when I was young, my dad and I did the same!

Gotta smile when I see a display of Home Run pizza at my local grocery. It reminds me of the great pizza and good times at the restaurant. So of course I treated my family to my fav- sausage on classic crust. Nobody has a better sauce, every bite is heaven.

I buy one of these every time I go to the grocery store. My family loves it and it’s so quick and easy to make. The ingredients are simple. No unnecessary preservatives or ingredients that you can’t even pronounce! Not only that, but it is seriously the most delicious freezer pizza I’ve ever had. The cheese tastes fresh and they put high quality meat on their pizzas. We have tried all different varieties of Home Run Inn pizza and we love them all!

As someone who remembers Home Runn Inn Pizza from the 80's and 90's and also just an all around pizza connoisseur this has to be the best frozen pizza on the market. As a Chicagoan sausage and cheese tavern style is our go to for pizza, and honestly this is the closest to our traditional pizza that I've ever tasted in a frozen pizza. So if your from Chicago and feeling homesick grab one of these with an ice cold cola and take a trip down memory lane.

How do ppl like this pizza? This is so disgusting. The dough was super “wet” even after baking properly. Gooey nasty dough, and the sausage seemed very under cooked. My stomach started hurting right away after eating it and don’t get me wrong, I’m not a lactose intolerant person or anything, so it wasn’t me. IT Ws the pizza!

I would say make different sizes more easily accessible in stores for people. I’m lucky enough to be able to treat myself every once in awhile but with the inflation we’ve seen in recent years, people may look at the family sized price and say “not this time”. The pizza itself is exceptional, ha!

Home Run Inn frozen pizza is the very best frozen pizza out there. It tastes just as good as if I picked it up fresh. This is the only frozen pizza I will buy. I also get the pepperoni as well. I would get others but can't find them in my area. You need to bring a Home Run Inn to central Illinois. I've eaten at the Home Run Inn in Addison IL.

This native New Yorker now living in Florida, really misses great pizza. A sale prompted me to try this-delicious. My family all said the thin crust and loads of cheesesmothering sausage , was yummy. We now have 2 more in freezer. Great tasting product. Try it- you won’t regret it.
