When living in Illinois, this was my go to pizza. You can't imagine how happy I was to find it here in South Carolina. It is still my go to pizza. Sometimes I'll share and other times I don't want to!! Friends have also been impressed with this pizza! YUM!!

I’ve relocated to Nevada and was so happy when I found my favorite Home Run Inn pizza in one of my local supermarkets. No more terrible pizza! I keep multiple pizzas in the freezer to ensure it’s always available. Comfort food from home is a winner. I LOVE a Home Run Inn pizza.

I buy Home Run and the last time I purchased the crust was very undesirable. I slide it bake into the oven to attempt to cook the crust but the top got dark and the crust stayed nasty doughy. Sorry I took no pictures but have not purchased since. Here you go, you asked and I answered.

this is the best pizza ever!! I grew up on HRI pizza, being a Chicago girl. My parents went on dates to HRI. We would go watch them make our pizza and me loving the dogs playing cards behind the bar. For me there isn’t any pizza in all of Chicagoland that beats HRI for quality or taste. Living in Georgia now, I was elated to find it in two of my grocery stores. Thank you for making this old girl a happy camper.

Having tried numerous brands of frozen pizza, I can honestly say this is the closest to restaurant quality pizza. No one does a hand tossed crust better than Homerun Inn. The sauce is not overly sweet. The cheese doesn't overpower the sausage (which is true Italian Sausage).This may be the perfect frozen pizza. It is rare when one enjoys the crust alone as much as the pizza toppings.

My husband and I had out first daye at Home Run Inn in July 1969. It was my first time there and my first sausage pizza. It was love - not only for me and my husband, but for the pizza. I was thrilled when HRI started selling their frozen pizzas and I could pop one in the oven and relive my first time!

Been eating HRI pizza since I was a young child and still- I'm 74. My uncle lived next door in Cicero to one of the two brothers who found HRI. We live in Naperville and go to the HRI restaurant 5 minutes away. We also buy HRI pizza from the close Jewel store. We will never eat any other pizza. William Piasecki

We have been fans of Home Run Inn pizza our whole life. From being a teenager and driving to Cicero to get some at the original tavern till now buying them frozen in Tennessee. There is no better pizza I’ve ever eaten and the same classic taste I grew up with all my life.

We live in St augustine FL and to put it bluntly, pizza here sucks! After trying about 10-12 different pizza joints, we settled on Pizza Hut because it was consistent, and was better than anything else we were going to get. We finally tried a frozen Home Run Inn and were pleasantly surprised. It was MUCH better than Pizza Hut for a frozen pizza. My only downside is that the crust seems a bit too thick for me.

Having grown up in the Chicago area, but currently living in Florida, this is as close to home as we’ve found. Thin, crispy crust, perfect amount of real cheese, delicious sauce, and Chicago style sausage (here all the pizza sausage is thin slices). We even cut it into squares. We don’t call it “Tavern Style”, we call it HOME.
