Been eating HRI pizza since I was a young child and still- I'm 74. My uncle lived next door in Cicero to one of the two brothers who found HRI. I just love the classic crust Sausage pizza from Home Run Inn. The cheese is so silky and smooth. There is just the right amount of red sauce. I can rave about the Sausage - it is great. One of the best parts is the crust - it is one of the best parts of the pizza - truly unique.

We have been fans of Home Run Inn pizza our whole life. From being a teenager and driving to Cicero to get some at the original tavern till now buying them frozen in Tennessee. There is no better pizza I've ever eaten and the same classic taste I grew up with all my life.

Having tried numerous brands of frozen pizza, I can honestly say this is the closest to restaurant quality pizza. No one does a hand tossed crust better than Homerun Inn. The sauce is not overly sweet. The cheese doesn't overpower the sausage (which is true Italian Sausage).This may be the perfect frozen pizza. It is rare when one enjoys the crust alone as much as the pizza toppings.

This is the first choice for everyone in my family of 5. My son who is autistic loves this pizza, and so do my daughters and husband. The crust, cheese and sausage is incomparable with any other pizza (frozen or fresh). This is an easy choice for dinner.

As a Chicagoan living in Texas (especially as one who REALLY misses Chicago food) Home Run Inn frozen pizza is a staple in our house, specifically the sausage pizza. It bakes up perfectly crispy, melty, and delicious, and it's always a happy reminder of home. Theres always lots of sausage on top; they don't skimp on that which I appreciate. Anytime we bake this pizza for friends who have never heard of Home Run Inn, they're very impressed and talk about how good it is. We typically buy this instead of ordering pizza. Home runs Classic Sausage. Pizza has been a staple in our family for years. We love it kids come home from school and grab one and pop it in the oven. It makes their day. It's my favorite too. I like it right out of the oven and I even like it after it gets cold I tried making my own pizza but why bother don't try and fix something that's already the best Home Run Classic Sausage Pizza you can't beat it.

I am so thankful I found some pizza that tastes like “home” to me! It reminds me of growing up in the Chicago area and the simple, delicious ingredients along with the home town feel- I am so happy to be able to continue our pizza nights away from our hometown!
