Love the double ice maker (even though they are a little slow. The door in door is great too. I have had it almost a month and am very pleased. My fruits and vegetables stay fresh much longer than before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really love our refrigerator -- The downside is that we had the fan replaced 2x, the ice maker 1x, the compressor 2 times within the first year - Make sure you take full advantage of the mfgr warranty - we had to call and schedule a repair person to come out and fix it - this took time but the new compressor has its own long warranty (I think it is 10 years??) Make sure you don't over stuff the freezer and keep the doors/drawers closed. If it is in a cabinet enclosure - pull out the refrigerator to clean the vents regularly. We put in an open vent on the outside of the cabinet to help with the air flow. We haven't had any issues (other than the air vent getting clogged with dust and pet hair) It is truly an awesome fridge, as long as the compressor and fans work (or get them replaced ASAP).

The door-in-door is very convenient for those items we use frequently, thereby keeping the rest of the fridge contents cold. The craft ice is great; it stays solid for a long time, especially in our thermal cups. We like having dual ice makers. We have only used the top drawer as a refrigerator door so I can't speak to its freezer capabilities, but we like the easy access to things we use frequently. The design works well for us and we've had none of the issues described in other reviews. We had a different LG french door refrigerator for 10 years that we were also very happy with but when we sold our house, the buyers wanted it. That's why we purchased this one. Very happy with it.

Loved frig.BUT we returned frig. because in low light you can't see controls on door Words need light NOT bar above words! If you can't see the words the Lighted bar means nothing! No light till push dispenser. Don't know what is being despensed till too late. Words are hard to see even in daylight. Poor design

I barely have a year with my refrigerator and it had so many problems that they took their sweet time fixing it. I lost all my groceries. It took six weeks to finally get it fixed. I am a loyal lg customer. I just bought a new stove recently. I’m disappointed with not making a priority to get my refrigerator fixed.

Our new refrigerator is awesome, has all the features we wanted with split door, two ice makers and the convertadrawer feature. Price was good got the color we wanted and delivered on time. Everything has been perfect.

The fridge with the craft ice, a gas range, dishwasher and microwave. When my washer punks out I plan to buy LG again. People told me not to buy LG but I didn't listen and I am a happy person!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best refrigerator I have ever owned. It is big - be sure to measure. We had to make adjustments to the upper cabinet for it to fit. But the quality of this fridge is exceptional. Even with the ice maker in the door - it has tons of door storage. The outer access to the right door is fabulous. The center drawer is great - no more opening doors to access the drawer. And it is deeper than expected. The options for ice are fun. We use the regular ice in the door ice maker and the craft ice in the freezer. My only complaint (and it's not a big deal) is that when the freezer ice is full, the ice falls out to the floor of the fridge. The opening in back is cut out to accommodate the ice maker but makes the opening too big. I just keep a yardstick handy in the kitchen to move the ice out. I love the craft ice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this two weeks ago. This was a display model so it had a few scratches and dents. The problem I had was neither ice maker worked when I got it. The good news is LG quickly sent out two new Ice makers. I also think it is crazy that it only makes 3 craft ice cubes a day. That just seems like a waste. I hope I can replace the craft Ice maker with a regular Ice maker so we can have more ice when needed. Everything but the Ice makers we love.

This freezer stopped producing our “6 per day” round ice just after our warranty was up. Now we are getting error codes, as well as slow ice production up top too. We are lucky to get 2 round ice cubes a day. Now our freezer is making a whining noise. We also get a “FFE” code that shows on the screen. So upset that we spent this much money for it to not even last 2 years. We thought buying a LG appliance was a smart move. Smh! Poor quality at an expensive price.
