It burned nice and hot the whole time and gave a good smell while cooking. The steak came out with a nice flavor and the coals lasted the whole grill. The bag was easy to carry and didn’t spill everywhere. For the price, it did the job and I’d use it again when grilling. Simple and worked how I needed.

It gave the burgers and chicken a mild smoky smell with a subtle hint of beer flavor. The only downside is that it is not ideal for extended grilling sessions.

I have tried this charcoal to light my grill and it lights up very quickly. In addition, it is a very good quality and sustainable charcoal, it gives a very rich flavor and smell to the meat or chicken. Sometimes I dislike the smell of other charcoal, but I really liked the aroma it gives off when it is lit, and of course the aroma does not smell like beer despite being briquettes made of beer. I really liked the packaging, plus it is a 16 lb bag, which I think is excellent for its price.

It's actually made with real beer, and you can really taste the difference it gave our steaks an extra boost of flavor. The bag is generously sized and should last through a few cookouts. The food was delicious and I couldn’t really tell if the scent was any different. Packaging was great but would be nice if you could reseal the bag somehow. Their easy open, sturdy bag is very much appreciated!! These briquets are huge and look almost like there's little sticks mixed up into them. When first lit, they totally crackle sounding like a campfire 🔥. It doesn't take long before your coals are hot and ready. I could smell the scent of beer while the food was cooking, but it was not overwhelming. I cooked up some brats, and they tasted perfect! It's just a hint of beer flavor with the perfect charcoal cooking flavor. The price is worth it for Kingsford BEERCOAL.
