I let it completely inflate for 12 hours as much as I wanted to sleep on it immediately. This is the most comfortable firm mattress I’ve ever had. I literally can’t wait to climb in bed and get comfy. I have severe radiation fibrosis and it hurts to be in most positions yet this mattress alleviates my pain without pressure on trigger points. I was worried at first because I'm used to sleeping on a softer mattress, I was afraid that it would be too firm for me but it's not, it's perfect. It really helps support my body while sleeping. I used to wake up with my back hurting but I haven't had that problem since I have been sleeping on it. I love that it's a darker color and not white. I always put an encasement over my mattress to protect it but I might not need to do that since it's not white. I love this mattress and I would definitely recommend it.
