Rustic sourdough bread is a disappointment. A skimpy 16 oz half loaf cost almost $4. How rediculous is that when I could buy a 24 oz loaf for under $3 at the WM bakery section. Never again.

Today was the first time I purchased The Rustik Sourdough bread. When I opened the package the bread was so dry/hard that I thought Walmart sold me old bread...nope, use by date was in five days. Only thing to do is use it for toast.

Very hard yet had a fresh time date. Lightly toasted it and it became hard as a rock. Ripped up my mouth, even after butter was absorbed into it. Tasted bland, nothing like a traditional sourdough. Disgusting.

Sorry, not sorry. There is nothing Sourdough about this bread. It has a great texture and chew but it tastes like regular white bread. 5 Stars for texture, 2 stars for wishing it was sourdough.

I really love this bread especially toasted! However I like others have seen a decrease in the amount of slices compared to how many there were a few moths ago. I will still buy but don’t like to be gipped like that!

Big slabs of dampish white bread. A dense, gummy mouthfeel. Nothing like a San Francisco-type sourdough I was hoping for. Seattle brand "sourdough" is better, even though it's made with vinegar, not sourdough starter.

I have a gluten intolerance and because this bread is made from starter dough it is safe for me to eat it and tastes great! Love it. Unfortunately there isn't enough in stock daily. Please bring more to Cromwell CT!

It’s a half loaf with flour on it. Nobody stole half of the bread you were too lazy to go buy. And it’s not mold, it’s flower. It’s cute. Makes you think it’s not from a factory. This isn’t Wonder bread, Edna.

Frustrating that companies make regular bread, add vinegar for tart taste, and label it "Sourdough". Technically it is sour, what it is NOT is sourdough bread. Ridiculous.

We've been buying sourdough bread for over 50 years and this is absolutely the best!! Also, stays fresh for a long time!! Great in the toaster and fore french toast.
