I purchased this cooler simply because it stated “10 day Ice retention”. Now I’m a hot shot driver that stays over the road for weeks at a time. This cooler sounded perfect. I know that it was a stretch to expect 10 days while in the back of my truck, out in the open, but 3-5 days would have satisfied me. Not even. I placed my food and drinks in and a 20 lb bag of ice over the items early morning and by that evening less than half the ice was gone. I’m lucky to have ice last 2 days. I have had it for about a month with same or less than posted results. For the price and statement, it’s too much for me. I gave it 3 stars because the cooler itself is awesome. Sturdy, large capacity, heavy (technically anti theft, lol) but I’d prefer better ice retention. I viewed the ice retention videos on their website, coolers.lifetime.com (post purchase) and still found it to be unusable for my needs. If you are needing a cooler “child proof”, don’t know much about bear proof, and follow the instructional videos, this is your cooler.

I received the 115qt lifetime. I'm impressed with the high quality workmanship in this cooler. I love the cutting board/ divider feature. you can also order a wire basket from Amazon that will fit perfectly in 115qt.

Cooler performed well beyond my expectations! Purchased for a week long hunting trip. Cooler kept items fully frozen for that entire duration. Cooler is very heavy, so be aware that you’ll likely need help moving it when fully loaded.

I’ve had one a couple years first year was perfect kept ice nice and cold for days the top has bowed on it and now does not seal tight ice melts within 24 hours absolutely worthless Now just expensive junk

unfortunately i had my cooler stolen this past sunday night. the cooler worked like a charm, kept ice for a couple days, never had a problem with it. the latches are nice and smooth, bottle opener works amazing.

I own several.had to buy this to haul meat home..a little dry ice and everything stayed frozen for 2 1/2 days in 90 degree temperatures..kept in the shade with a blanket on top..don’t waste your money on anything else..

We have not had a chance to use the lifetime ice chest as it is winter time. It was packaged well and arrived unscathed
