DANGEROUS safety flaw with burner knobs

One very major flaw!. Be extremely careful not to even slightly accidentally bump the knobs because they will turn on with the slightest press. I’ve scorched two towels because of this. So now we must remember to lock the burners after every use. I’ve never seen anything like this and would return it if I could. We purchased in mid-June and don’t use it a lot primarily because I just about hate it. I think it’s worthy of a review by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Would never ever buy this again. It has a lot of good features but the safety issue with the burners negates all of that. One more thing: we clean the top every time we use it. We spend a lot of time trying to get the streaks off from the top. It becomes a streaky mess even when you wipe it with clean towels. It appears a “substance’ is coming off from the seal around the top. We have a new LG refrigerator and dishwasher and they are great.

Hey there. To address burner issues with your LG range, first ensure burner caps are properly positioned. Next, clean the igniter and gas valve, adjust the air shutter according to the owner's manual, verify the range is set for the correct gas type, and perform a hard reset by unplugging for 2-3 minutes. Worst air fryer ever.

I bought the LG air fry oven in December of 2020. The air fryer worked about three times in December. It's now April. I've had 7 repair appointments and no one seems to be able to fix it. The service people have replaced parts, circuit boards and nothing has fixed the problem. My only recourse at this point is to have LG replace the oven. Maybe the next one will work properly.

Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven is wonderful and has delivered everything we were looking for. Would have been 5 star if the “Air Fry Tray” was included. Seem like a major feature like that should have the proper accessory.

Not so much

We bought our LG LREL6325F in (I believe January or September) 2021...it was great for about 8-9 months. Then the oven would burn everything. Had a reputable (LG qualified tech/repair) company repair it. The connection to the lower heat element melted/shorted out. Repaired short and replaced thermistor/temp sensor. Worked for about 3 months, then-now temp is approximately 75°F cooler than the range registers. This has been measured with analog and digital thermostats, internal and external. For example if we preheat the oven to 350 and wait for the preheat signal... The oven displays 350, an internal analog displays 275-290,digital displays similar to analog. If you turn off the oven and turn it back on to preheat again, it oven displays about 320. If you adjust the temperature in the settings it doesn't change the actual measured Temps (analog/independent). Same company/tech came out a few weeks ago... Said temp sensor measures correct resistance(s) and he can't find anything else wrong /advised it may need the main board replaced, but can't guarantee that will fix/repair it... Also I would like to add no visible discoloration on any of the connection/boards/internals.

Disappointed

We bought our range almost a year ago and I have never heard or seen the fan on. Finally called service and he said the motor was bad. Also we noticed the past two weeks the oven preheats and then shuts off. We have to keep resetting it. Needless to say we are waiting for a motor and now when he comes back I have to tell them about this. Wish we could just get it replaced totally. I have to do baking for my church during lent and I don't know how I'm going to do it. We love this range when it was working needless to say we were not air frying when we thought we were. Explains why we had to air fry way longer than the time it said.

Great Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I really like this gas range! I purchased it because of the large oven capacity and easy clean features. I haven't done any massive heavy duty cooking yet but all the meals I've made so far have cooked well and been easy to clean up. I also haven't used the wifi connectivity yet but that wasn't super important for me. The oven itself is very different than my last one as it heats up from the back and pushes the air around which is great, but getting used to it. I feel like the oven takes a bit to heat up (probably because it is so large) which if you're just heating up pizza or chicken fingers can be frustrating but I'll take that trade off for the size! I love the blue interior. And love that I have been able to just wipe the oven and stovetop down when I made a greasy mess, I haven't had to use either cleaning features yet (we'll see how that goes). I love the 22K burner - it boiled a huge pot of water relatively fast! My negatives so far - you have to turn the oven knob on then off to get the timer/panel to come on (not a big deal but I wish you could just tap on the panel) the timer plays a happy little song though when done! Also the broiler shuts off with door open (which is a good safety feature) though I like sometimes to flip things around and keep an eye on what I'm broiling with the door open (not a dealbreaker). Then the top grates have scratched the stovetop slightly though I haven't moved them around much except to clean. You can't see the scratches really when the grates are on so doesn't bother me yet but it seems the top may scratch easily which over time would be worrisome. Overall I feel like this range was a great purchase however I'm still new to it and learning all the different cooking features. So far so good though and I would highly recommend at this point!

Over complicated and obnoxious

Just moved into a house with this stove. It’s the worst. I’m making a turkey and it’s taking sooo long and convection turns your temp below what you set it for. When I baste it the oven beeps at me like yes you stupid piece of metal I know the door is open, I’m basting a turkey!! And when I pull the rack out to reach the turkey it scratched the whole side of the oven inside!! Stove top is a joke there are so many settings and I just wanna know what’s low and what’s high. Flat stove top works poorly as well. Buy a gas stove and save yourself some major headaches!!

AWFUL

I bought this stove 2 years ago and have been disappointed ever since. I bought it from a local LG retailer/Appliance store and I have googled on how to repair this thing so often, it prompted me to leave a review. The knob on the large burner fell off because the pressure stem inside it quit working. The electronic panel shorts on off, but the clock has had missing fragments of digits for over a year. The elements on the stove top look spread out, almost looking like it is 'leaking'. The overall performance of the oven itself is uneven, everything in the back of the oven burns and the front of the oven isn't fully cooked. DO NOT BUY THIS. I bought it on a "3 years same-as-cash" finance plan, and it isn't even paid off yet.

Well Designed Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this range “ LG 6.3 CU FT. SMART WI-FI ENABLED TRUE CONVECTION INSTAVIEW® ELECTRIC RANGE WITH AIR FRY” Model: LREL6325F about one and a half month ago. We are very pleased with the way the stove and oven works. We noticed that the oven temperature regulates more uniformly as compared to the previous range-oven we had. The top cooking surface is much easier to clean and maintain. We are very satisfied.
