The strong smell wasn't detectable in the store, but once we had them in the car, we could barely breathe. Had to roll down the windows just to get home with them. We have them locked up in an airtight cabinet in the basement. Can't use them in the dryer, but will try one in the RV because I've heard they keep vermin away. I'm sure it will only take one.

So toxic is the scent that I think they are meant to harm us. We are keeping them outside on the porch until we get a chance to take them back. We left them in the kitchen of our studio and have returned to toxic stinm. Thank goodness we have an attic fan that will completely replace all air in the studio house within 5 minutes! They, too, will stay outside until we can return them. Americans made dryer sheets for decades, safely and properly. Can foreign manufacturers do nothing right?

I never actually got these into my dryer. The scent from the still sealed box is so overwhelming we decided to return them. I have asthma and these things have triggered one heck of an asthma attack when Gain( my usual brand) have no effect on my breathing.

Purchased before running out of Snuggle and placed on top of dryer - unopened and still shrink wrapped. This is in enclosed washroom. The scent leak out into adjacent rooms and is so strong and stink overpowering obnoxious. Have put the boxes into a ziploc as it's too late to get to the club to return, which I will do as soon as possible. (Should have read some other reviews which have similar issue. Maybe if you have a basement or a big enough place this wouldn't be an issue, but in a 2br condo, this product is toxic!)

I am use to the old kind they had, recently when I had to buy a new box I noticed it was different. I left them in my car overnight, my car was so overwhelming it made me sick. Brought them into my house and it did the same thing to my laundry room. Great if you like an over powering smell of dryer sheets. But I do not recommend if you are sensitive to smells or don’t appreciate an abundance amount of an over powering smell.

I bought these about a month ago and I have NEVER had this problem with other name brand dryer sheets. As a single mom sometimes I get busy and the dryer finishes it's cycle and I have to run them to fluff for 10 more minutes before I fold the clothes. With this brand my son started complaining about something scratching him on his clothes. I then noticed a melted up dryer sheet in the dryer, and came to realize that's what it was. As I said before, I have never had this issue with other products. I will never buy them again. I have a whole box and a half that I will be throwing away.

Arrived today and back they go. Smell is so strong I have to keep them outside. I do appreciate the refund without sending back. I will give these to someone who doesn't mind the strong smell. Whoever makes these sheets needs to tone that perfume smell way down. Will stick with unscented sheets.

While I'm not happy about the price increase within the last two years, these fabric sheets are nearly identical to Bounce and far cheaper. I've been buying Members Mark dryer sheets for the last 17+ years, I've always been satisfied with this product. It takes nearly two years to go through them.

We have a golden doodle and she sheds. I have a few black T-shirts that are magnets for lint and dog hair. I should have bought a small box to try but I got this 3 pack from Sam’s. It doesn’t help to repel hair and lint. I will still use them as regular dryer sheets but they are nothing special. I still have to use tape to remove all the lint and hair. Won’t repurchase .

I have been buying these dryer sheets for years without any issues. The last 2 times I have bought these they have left a oily residue on my clothing. I even noticed an oily build up on my dryer lint trap that I had to scrub with a degreaser to remove the build up. I switched back to a name brand and no more oily residue or build up!
