Relatively Intuitive Controls
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this LG range for a bit over two months. The controls have been relatively intuitive so that I do not have to refer to an instruction book. I truly like the ease of setting the cooking timer so that the oven automatically turns off at the set time. Additionally, on of my favorite aspects of the oven that I did not notice when I bought it is the absence of a heating coil on the bottom of the oven so that cleaning the bottom of the oven is significantly easier than the prior oven.
One small issue
Bought this a month ago. So much to love but have a few issues with the oven. When i cook a pizza on a pampered chef pizza stone it does not brown at all on the bottom. We lowered the rack but have the same result. Also found after air frying chicken wings used the easy clean. Easy? Had to scrub and grease didnt really come off. Will have to do a self clean.

Beautiful stove, but...
The stove has great features. Works wonderfully, but I became a slave of my own stove. I don't have it for a long time, even though we bought it back in February, I just have it for really 3 months. I have no complain on the functionality of the stove, but the stove top that is a different story. I am constantly wiping it and even with that on my back burner I am struggling to remove all the time the soft" rust marks that appear. I know I am not doing anything wrong, since is the only spot. I have E-cloth and stainless-steel cleaner. Nothing else. Not sure if is normal, at least not after maybe 30 time of use. All my appliances are LG, this is the only one, that I almost wish it would be white or black.
It is our pleasure to hear your valuable feedback. We would like to assist you with the rust-marks of your stove. Please send us a private message on Facebook or Twitter using @LGUSSupport, and include your contact info, and we will be happy to assist. Thank you. ^Jolly
"Food Cooks Evenly"
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my LG Electric Range on September 11, 2020 and received it a month later. The range has so many features and I'm still learning them. I'm very pleased with the results of how it cooks food evenly and timely. There
Should have done mor research
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I had done more research-I do not like the black glass top. If you have a pan on the burner and move it a little-will scratch the top. Have to lift and move even if it is for a millimeter of an inch! The dials on the top are hard to read-print need to be darker. However, it is better than my old gas stove.
Hey there Jane! The cooktop for your LG Electric Range should always look as good as new after using it, and we'd be happy to help you keep it that way. This link (http://spr.ly/6427SG5KH), can help you to remove scratches from your range whenever they come up, and we recommend looking through page 34 of the unit's owner's manual since it mentions what cookware to use best to avoid future scratches. If you need additional assistance, please send us a private message on social media at @LGUSSupport, and we'll be ready to help! *Josh
Detailed review, including power used by elements
We bought this 6 months ago after fairly extensive research. I find it okay but my wife does most of the cooking and all the baking and is not thrilled with it. Before buying, I summarized the review comments as shown below, in order from most to least prevalent. I'm including them here along with our own thoughts: - stove top scratches very easily just from sliding a pot or pan on it and/or impossible to clean Us: True, but we've been careful to not slide pots so we don't have a lot of scratches. Still, the top already doesn't look very nice and will only get worse. Some stains can be scraped or cleaned off while others appear to be permanent. - flimsy bottom drawer and requires 2 hands to open Us: Flimsy and doesn't hold much but it can easily be opened with one hand. - numbers wore off stove dials or are hard to see Us: We don't find this to be a problem. - wimpy air fryer, or just doesn't work as it should (but see next item) + air fryer is great Us: There were mixed reviews on this. We haven't used it that much but it doesn't seem to work all that well. There is very little difference noticed between the air-fry and regular convection modes. Also, most recipes are for stand-alone air fryers so we don't see the results that the recipe shows. - don't like oven control touch panel Us: It seems fine to us. - Need to use + and - buttons to change oven temperature (instead of entering numbers?) Us: Not true for this model.. You can punch numbers. Maybe I recorded this incorrectly. - oven temperatures don't match what's been set Us: Baking seems to be taking a few minutes longer than expected but roasting seems to be taking the expected amount of time. It's odd because I think both of those use the same elements. - "As others have noted, can only use 1-3 on the burners, or food burns quickly. There is no simmer setting, food cooks rapidly at lowest setting." (several reviewers said some variation of this) Us: My wife has complained about this to some extent. See more details on element power below. - oven is slow to preheat Us: This is true, and is definitely slower than our previous 22-year-old range despite having a higher watt rating. It's strange, but we just have to remember to put the oven on 10-15 minutes before it's needed. - timer is annoying Us: This wasn't mentioned in previous reviews but we find the timer annoying. It plays a loud tune for seven seconds, pauses for 7 seconds and repeats that cycle forever until it's manually shut off. When we first noticed the inconsistent heating of the elements, I ran a few hours of experiments (yeah, too much time on my hands) to try to determine the power output of each element at each setting. Great Features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had the stove about a month, love the blue color in the oven and that there are no heating elements in the bottom of the stove. Did not come with an air fryer pan so had to order one. Tried to do bacon in the air fryer and it took longer than if I had just done it on the oven setting. I still have problems determining what to put the controls on so I get the full effect of the burner (one burner has 3 settings).. So far it works good.
Dangerous issues
I'm very disappointed with this stove. 1. The red light showing a burner is on doesn't indicate which burner. 2. The red light that shows the stove top is hot doesn't indicate where. 3. The oven racks tilt downward when pulled out with a pot or broiler grill is on them. They slide toward the door and could fall on the glass door if you aren't able to hold the pot with one hand - very precarious situation. See photo and look at the tilt on the inside wall. 4. The enamel in the oven is chipped, never had this happen over many years and many stoves. Cheap material. The company sent a touch up pen for me to use on it. 5. Stovetop seems to scratch beneath the surface of the glass. It's so strange and a nuisance to clean.

Great features, easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just purchased this oven and used the air fry today and it worked great. love the look, the features and the interface. I have seen at least one person complain there is not a lower element when there in fact is, it is a hidden lower element which is one of the features of this unit.
The best electric range
We originally had a Frigidaire electric range that had run its course and we ended up going with the LG electric range with air fry. It’s our first LG and honestly? I’m absolutely in love with it. First the size of the oven was what sold me on the LG it has three racks and tons of room which I need bc I love to bake and cook. The inside of the oven is definitely a wow factor with the color-it shows how much attention to detail that was put into this range. The knock twice feature turns the oven light on while the door is closed- is as useful as it is fun-if you think you won’t use it guess again because I didn’t think I would either and I do…a lot. There is a proofing feature on the oven that I’ve used more than 10 times-we bake more with this feature since we don’t have to wait as long for the yeast to rise or the dough to double in size. The air fry feature is amazing and incredibly convenient to not have to take out the portable one (find counter space, plug it in etc) the keep warm was another new to me feature that I really appreciate. The convection roast was another feature that was new to me that I use a lot. The food cooks and bakes so much faster with the LG range. The stovetop is beautiful and cleans so easily which I really love. The different size for pot options is so convenient and there is a Ultraheat power boil that works impeccably-was surprised at how quick it actually is. If you are deciding what range to get I would say you can’t go wrong with LG and this range has been used so much already because it works so flawlessly. It’s easy to use with plenty of features that you need and nothing that you don’t. I wish I had it sooner.
