AWFUL

I bought this stove 2 years ago and have been disappointed ever since. I bought it from a local LG retailer/Appliance store and I have googled on how to repair this thing so often, it prompted me to leave a review. The knob on the large burner fell off because the pressure stem inside it quit working. The electronic panel shorts on off, but the clock has had missing fragments of digits for over a year. The elements on the stove top look spread out, almost looking like it is 'leaking'. The overall performance of the oven itself is uneven, everything in the back of the oven burns and the front of the oven isn't fully cooked. DO NOT BUY THIS. I bought it on a "3 years same-as-cash" finance plan, and it isn't even paid off yet.

Worst Purchase Ever

Twice our food has caught fire because of the oven cooking more like a broil instead of a bake. Bottom of the food is underdone and the top is burnt, smoking. I would not recommend this stove to my worst enemy . The stove top is not easy to clean. It marks up easily and the rubber seal around the top catches every miniscule crumb in existence. Worst purchase I have ever made .

Well, it works but

I’ve had this for about 6 months.. it is a good piece of equipment except the control panel is absolutely horrible. It seems like the touch pads are not aligned as setting the bake, convert bake and air fry requiring multiple attempts to just get where you want and then the start button must be aligned with the clear/off button. And the there is the sounds this machine makes are just hideous, something from a children's game and it cannot be changed. Oh, and the knock on the door to turn the light doesn’t work. If I knew about this I may not have purchased it. But like I said, the range is excellent, size is good, elements heat quickly and the variable size burners are great.

Ridiculous

It's ridiculous that you have to use the Wi-Fi to torn the power on to the oven controls. You have to have a certain Wi-Fi output and download apps. What happened to just plugging it into the wall and turning the knob. Why do things always have to be done through a cell phone. IT'S REDICULOUS that it has come to all the out of control technology that we have come up with. Its just making people more lazy and useless. in 56 yrs I have never had trouble turning on the oven or setting the clock till NOW. this is the worst setup I have ever seen and I will never buy one. Sister's got one and has had it for over a month now and still can't use the oven.

Like my new stove

Stove was delivered September 18/ 2020. The stove top is scratched all ready and I have new pots, after the delivery guys left I noticed the front of the stove where the stainless steel starts is all scratched up, it definitely was not the delivery guys! I do like the stove and all the burners are great and so is the oven. I still can’t get the air fryer tray

Wifi?

I wanted a range with wifi as we often have power outages and I naturally thought a wifi enabled stove would automatically reset the clock when the power was restored. Not so with this range. All wifi does is to send notifications such as when the oven reaches temperature or a burner is on. Handy features, but really? Not even the ability to reset the clock from the app! It needs to be reset from the control panel. This is absurd! Also, while sitting at the kitchen island, it appears as though there is a piece missing beneath the control panel as shown in the picture. This is unnoticeable while standing, but I’ve had a number of people point it out while sitting at my island. Did you forget to finish it LG?

Worst air fryer ever.

I bought the LG air fry oven in December of 2020. The air fryer worked about three times in December. It's now April. I've had 7 repair appointments and no one seems to be able to fix it. The service people have replaced parts, circuit boards and nothing has fixed the problem. My only recourse at this point is to have LG replace the oven. Maybe the next one will work properly.

So disappointed with the glass cooktop.

We were so excited to get a new Range. We had our other range but needed to buy a new Refrigerator, so decided to splurge and get all new appliances. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with the cooktop. My previous stove had a similar cooktop and never had an issue. It still looked new. Have had my stove for 2 weeks and already have several marks that won't come off. It sure doesn't look like a brand new stove.Also it is extremely difficult to get grease marks off the stovetop.

Air fryer more gimmick than feature

This unit looks beautiful but the air fryer makes my food soggy and not crispy. Following the directions exactly as written for the oven and the food product results in soggy nuggets and fries. We stopped using the air fryer and stick with convect bake.

Terrible Design

I bought this in July and should have returned it but I thought LG was a reputable company that would honor their product. The front corners on the cooktop are "wrinkled" and they won't admit it's a design defect. Hope they have this in their kitchen! I put a dent in the stainless strip by just bumping a pan on it. Didn't try to lie about it. That is all the tech had to see to say he would not replace the cooktop.....the elements are also not right....he tried a test but he is aware of the issue and knew how to get around it. The technician was kind enough to take a key out of his pocket and stuff the oven gasket back into the hole that it should have been securely fitted into.
