Loudest tires I've ever owned

I bought 205/55R16 91H tires. These are the noiseyest tires I have ever had. I can't hear the cars engine because the tires are so loud. They may stop well, I don't know, I haven't had to thoroughly test that yet, but, I don't think the noise is worth that benefit.

An all around great tire

I just purchased my second set for my 2011 Sonata. I put 70K on my first set and still had plenty of tread left. My garage rotated every other oil change and that, I think, is the secret to getting the best results. I could not be more satisfied. I run Defenders on my Silverado and have experienced similar satisfaction.

Great tire, wears out way too fast.

I am on my second set of these Premier A/S tires and my only wish is that they lasted longer. My first set was replaced under warranty at about 35,000 miles, and I'm now 17,000 miles into the second set and at 4/32 tread depth....the tires need replaced at 2/32 meaning that as I write this in March, I'll need to replace them before winter. They ride well, have great stopping and handling but jist wear out too fast.

Good Handling and Ride, Poor Treadware Life

I purchased these tires in 2014 as a new release. Handling and ride are excellent, however treadware life is poor. They had a 100,000Km warranty and with 52,000Km they have less than 3/32 tread remaining. The tire did maintain the treadware pattern across the face of the tire as was designed and still handled well, but 3/32 going into winter is still a risk. I did receive a warranty adjustment, but did not purchase another set of Premier's due to the poor treadware life I experienced. However I did stick with Michelin and purchased a set of their newest release Primacy Touring A/S. Am hoping for the same performance but better tread life.

Poor Mileage

After being recommended by my tire shop, we purchased four of these tires for our 2015 Subaru Forester XT. We did regular tire rotation and air pressure checks. At just over 35,000 miles the wear bars are showing. Very disappointed in that we only got this many miles out of these tires.

Comfortable but Handling Suffers

I have a 2011 Honda Accord EX-L. It came with the Michelin Pilot MXM4 tires. 50K mile tire, I got 62K from them (tires had 3-5 mm left). They made my Accord feel like a sports car. I loved them, but I drive about 40K miles per year over no so great rural TX roads in the course of doing my job, so I thought maybe I should get something designed for longer life and improved comfort. Thus, I replaced my Pilots with the Premier A/S tires. These tires certainly are very quiet and comfortable, but they are a little scary in the handling department. Keep in mind where I came from, but the tire definitely has some stability issues if you have to make a quick evasive move around an object in the road. I thought I was going to end up in a ditch doing something I had done many times with the Pilot tires (South TX roads are full of retreads and other debris from Mexican trucks). Overall I'm happy with the quiet comfort, but I'm considering returning them based on the cornering and other handling characteristics. I don't know if it's my imagination, but it feels like my car doesn't accelerate as well either. I think the Pilots grabbed the road faster and didn't give as much, so the car moved when I said go. It's probably not a fair comparison, but I thought the review might be helpful for those considering a similar transition. You are giving up more handling in the compromise than you might expect.

Great performance

I bought my Premier A/S for my 2012 Ford Focus SE and couldn't believe how much better that they performed compared to the OE tires I had on there from Continental. With the new tires I was getting over 40 mpg on the interstate on a consistent basis, and the noise was much quieter. The handling was superb and the performance didn't decrease over the life of the tire. I was so impressed that when it came time to replace this set that I bought this same tire again. I hope this tire line stays around for awhile.

Did not last

I got these tires almost exactly 2 years ago in November 2017, and am currently replacing them with only 50,000km driven on them. I do use them year round, and these were replacing the original tires I had on my car, also driven on year round, and they lasted 80,000km and 4 years

many great features, but excellent handling

My premier A/S 225/60/18 are worn out on my Subaru Outback 35,000 miles . Have been rotated according to requirements . Disapointed with the wear/longevity issue but satisfied with every other aspect of the tire Will I buy the again? We shall see, We shall see.

Back to good mileage

When my last set of Michelins wore out, I unfortunately made the choice to put Goodyears on my Mazda 6. My mileage dropped 4-5 mpg. Had dealer request Goodyear replace, and they refused. My dealer bought them back from me at reduced price of course, and I paid the difference to stick the Premier on my wheels. Mileage is up 5 mpg. That's a major difference if you ask me. I saw some negative comments, but I don't hear any extra noise, and the tires cling to the road when I come down Monteagle Mountain. I won't experiment with another tire brand again.
