[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this TV in a well lit (large windows with natural light) living room. The TV doesn't "glare" in these conditions, and maintains the color integrity and shading very well. I am very pleased with the performance.

If I could take it back I would. The TV is very slow and sometimes unresponsive. The backlight bleeds through the edges, the sound quality is very poor. I bought the q series sound bar also and the TV hardly operates the sound bar. Step up samsung. For what we paid, we should have gotten quality. Not happy.

Absolutely love this TV! It loads apps faster than my coffee brews in the morning, and the picture quality is so crisp it almost feels like characters are about to step right into the room. Pure perfection — 10/10 would buy again (or win in a giveaway)!»

As always Samsung does it again year after year by making the best TVs, phones, NVME drives, etc. the picture is so clear and bright it's like staring out a window. The darks are so dark that it seems there is truly nothing there. I was quite surprised with the fact that you can cloud game on this TV with a controller. And it works amazingly well. There was next to no lag that I could tell, and I've been a hardcore gamer for 40 years. And with it being so thin and uniform it takes up next to no space especially if you hang it on a wall. And with its AI upscaling watching an old regular DVD it does a great job in making you think it is higher resolution than a standard definition.

I have been a Samsung fan/customer, ever since I bought my first Samsung 50" Plasma TV in 2006. That TV had so many options for Video and Audio connections, and the sound from the TV was great. I am not happy with this 85" Samsung TV.... The sound is horrible and creates a distorted noise at modest volumes for watching movies. There are very limited Video and Audio connections, and was not able to connect my Yamaha surround sound receiver. Picture quality is good but not great. Other than size, I prefer my old 50" Samsung TV with much better sound, good picture, and more Video and Audio options than I could ever use. --- Would NOT Recommend this 85" Samsung TV to friends or family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great TV, vivid colors and sharp images. Performs well for streaming and viewing cable channels. I added a sound bar but the internal speakers sound great. I am impressed with the performance and clarity. Like I mentioned earlier, great TV and within my budget.

Very disappointed in our new Samsung 65". Cannot get local channels without HD antenna which I purchased and IT WAS NOT A USER FRIENDLY SET UP; only to have it not work. Reception was terrible and would only pick up 5 local channels which were abysmal. Tried to watch a college football game today thru Youtube and speed looked like an old time movie. Faces were unrecognizable and we were watching 2nd quarter and flipped to 3rd quarter. Did not even finish 2nd quarter. We had unhooked the HD antenna to watch the game.

The television itself is excellent with bright sharp picture with excellent contrast between gray's and blacks with good controls for most functions. The ability to play video from a memory stick however is very restrictive as not many video standards are supported even some "AVI" files are refused if the compression is different to normal. The biggest downside of the complete package is the remote control having shorcut buttons to streaming providers such as YouTube, Netflix when you are not subscribed to them and quite often when you are watching your favourite soccer or baseball team you get asked to sign in to a network you don't even use when inadvertently knocking the remote control! The availability of apps to run on the television is really excellent but with the neverending update of the software means you are always resetting your favorite apps as you want them you are never away from the constant pressure of advertising as apps you don't want or even dislike are offered to you on a option on the home screen which has a greater priority than your own choices
