We bought our French door LG about one month ago. So far it has performed well. We had to get used to pushing the doors closed, as our former single door fridge tended to close by itself. The alarm that goes off when doors not closed is helpful. We like the temperature controls for fridge and freezer being on the outside door. We like the cold water feature on the door. When it was slow to make ice, we looked up the issue and learned the freezer needs to be -4 degrees. We think it is now making more ice, but slowly. We like the heavy door shelves that can hold bottles, but we put the milk further inside, as it was tending to spoil on the door. Overall, we like the refrigerator but it takes time to get the hang of opening the correct door. Also, one must open both doors to get to the central drawer. The freezer could use some compartmentalization, although we really like its upper drawer.

I didn’t but it as it was in a new house that I purchased. I am happy with it as I am familiar with the brand. There are positives and negatives. I like the size and the adjustability of the Fridge however I am worried that some of the shelves may not be able to take very heavy bottles but so far I have not had any issues. One area that’s a problem is the water dispenser, not the easiest for a 8 year old to stop spilling water on the ground as they tend to be looking at an iPad while trying to get water. Overall a good product and will look at other lines .

You have to push on it very hard to push it past a latch. Service came out to repair it and I was told nothing was wrong with it and I needed to learn how to close a door. It was very demeaning. On top if it, he did not even have all of his tools and asked me for a number of things.

This is truly the best refrigerator we have ever owned. There is more than ample storage in both the refrigerator and freezer sections. The water dispenser and the ice maker are easy to use and very convenient. We are totally sold on the French door style of this refrigerator. It makes accessing regularly used food items so much easier to access.

Freezer baskets are good size, also could be a little stronger. Filter seems good, hope the longevity on the filter is what is stated.

The fridge is great but it has no spare parts in the market. LG will promise you to refund but it takes months and all that time you wont have any fridge. Families with small kids need big fridge (like my family) but if your kid breaks anything accidentally, then dont blame him/her, only blame yourself because you will live without a fridge for months. I am a verified purchaser btw.

I would have thought it would come with a plug or something so the deep holes were not as noticeable. Tried to contact both LG and LGParts and no one can provide information

It opened up more space in the refrigerator section. I like the deep baskets in each door. It could use more lighting in the back of the refrigerator section. The platinum silver is the color we liked better than stainless. It fingerprints easily though.

We chose this unit, bigger than we needed(29 cubic ft) and we're so glad we did, the extra capacity while not needed day to day is a blessing on weekends and holidays when entertaining friends and family. The Freezer is also very spacious, with a deep bin and storage shelf. The ice making bin holds ample amounts of ice for your needs.

It took a few days of adjustments to get the cold food cabinet adjusted to the appropriate temperature, it's working great. The top cold cabinet is spacious and layed out well, door storage is more than adequate for our use. Freezer is big enough for a couple 20lb turkeys and a whole lot more. The ice maker works fine, it's summer right now and usage is high, haven't run low yet. The ice shape is like an old school ice tray, unique. The water on the door feature is better than expected, the pressure is good, it doesn't take long to fill a glass. It is quieter than anticipated via other reviews. The door finish is really good, easy clean and no fingerprints
