It was so hard to find a refrigerator anymore without the big chunky, space hog of an ice maker. They always break and are just an overall annoyance more than anything else. We are very pleased with this 'water only' model that we luckily found by LG. Unfortunately, they are very hard to find. We did have one maintenance call for the freezer drawer that would not fully extend. Sometimes it would open fully/extend properly and other times it wouldn't. The tech that came out told us something had spilled along the rail slide which was causing it to not come open fully. Not too sure about that but so far we haven't had that issue since then. Time will tell. We've only had for 5 months. Not happy with the price paid. (was promised a review would give you an entry into their $500 contest - when you try to enter the contest you have to check that you received the produce for free or at a reduced rate. I did not - I paid full price for the refrigerator at a big box store. It was expensive. Disappointed in the lure to post a review in exchange for contest entry.)

Makes a great volume of ice and stores the ice in a easy to retrieve bin. This is our first french door fridge, and would never go back to a side by side.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent Frig, Super Spacious, love how much room you get in the frig and how you can move about inside, you can organize your stuff so many ways to your liking. The freezer Is just a freezer, Ice machine work well (no ice maker on door/just water) doesn't come with a scooper you'll need to buy one your self other than that it's an excellent upgrade to anyones home.

We had as nice side-by-side 28.5 Cubic feet, but it always seemed crowded. It was a hassle to come home with groceries and put items in it. Or whenever holiday meals came along it was really tight finding place for leftovers or food prep that is left in fridge ahead of time. We wanted something new with a lot of space and the design of this model met that description. It only has a sleek water disperser in the door thereby leaving more room on the inside door of wider shelves. The icemaker is in the bottom and it really fills up fast. It's not an inconvenience to us to get ice via the freezer versus on old fridge where water and ice dispensed from the door. The fridge is like a canyon-so much room on the shelves, plenty of space on the doors. Now we come home with groceries and just toss them right in without searching for space. Whenever there are leftovers-easy as 1-2-3, just open the door and place right in, no need to arrange a place for large dishes of food. The fridge operationally is excellent, keeping things very cool, it's very very quiet. The freezer stays nice and frozen and plenty of room for our needs. This was an excellent choice and less expensive than others around 29+ cubic feet range size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When purchased, this refrigerator was great. Unfortunately after having it for a little over a year, the refrigerator portion is not cooling. I am working with LG to correct this issue. The freezer portion cools really great and the fridge is very spacious.

We bought this fridge because of the french-door style without ice through the door. Removing the ice distribution from the door provides a ton of extra space on that side of the fridge. We also like that water is stored cold in the door which minimizes temperature variances in the water from the dispenser. We are currently waiting on a repair of the dispenser light. It stopped working after about 6 months of use.

Miss not having a 2 ice makers but couldn’t beat the price. First jon-white appliance I’ve had. Black stainless steel is sharp.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The reason for 4-stars? The light on the water dispenser works...sometimes. We bought in April 2022. March of 2023, the light quit working. We had a tech come take a look, since it is an LED and not end user serviceable, and repair under warranty. Now, another year into ownership, and the light works occasionally. Only other gripe is the ice maker. There should be a "dead man" switch on it, so that when the freezer drawer is open, it won't dump ice. Other than these problems, the fridge is GREAT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this fridge for about 3 weeks and I love it! I am very happy with it... it is a great size and I love how easy it is to see everything I need. Most of my fridge contents are condiments and took up a ton of space in my last fridge- with the deep door shelves, I can add SO much (including milk), leaving much more room on the inner shelves for actual food. If you leave the door open to long it will ding at you- I both like and dislike that; sometimes I am getting out multiple things and have to walk across my kitchen and it dings pretty quickly, but that is only a minor complaint. The outside stays clean and is easy to wipe down if it does get dirty. I also like how the freezer has a sliding divider... makes it easy to put all the items I am going to cook with for the week on one side so they are easily accessible.
