[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The original dryer wouldn't work. The replacement dryer wouldn't work. A technician discovered that the plastic button that tells the dryer that the door is closed was not big enough to actually register it closed so it wouldn't run. This is a design/manufacturing defect and took over a week to resolve. Obviously this is a known defect and should be corrected before selling more machines.

I had my last dryer for over 20 years and if I hadn't been moving across country I would have just repaired it again. Instead I replaced both washer and dryer and chose LG after doing research online. I haven't had it long so I've only used it a few times but it worked great! I had to was a waterproof blanket that smelled really bad after being in storage. In my old dryer I would set it to use the sensor, then I'd have to add 20 minutes, then I'd usually drape it over a chair over night to finish drying. The new dryer has a special setting for waterproof items, and it works! The blanket came out barely damp. I threw it over a chair just to be sure it was really dry, but in less than an hour I was convinced I could safely fold it up. I do think it is noisier than my old dryer, but since I have 3 dryer balls in there it's going to be noisy anyway. The lint screen cleans really easily and the machine reminds you if it hasn't been done. So far I think I made a good choice.

I purchased a new LG washer and dryer and are not pleased with either. There are not enough settings to choose from. I have to dry every load for 2 cycles to get them dry. Also, the time changes and decreases by itself even when the clothes aren't dry yet. I am very disappointed.

I purchased this dryer 3 weeks ago. When it was delivered, it was unpacked at the back of the truck. I requested them to get it as close to my house as possible, but they decided to bounce it across a gravel drive. I live on a farm. They installed the dryer. Did not level it. On my second load of clothes it started making a vibrating noise. My husband leveled it, the noise continued. I did not know if the dryer was damaged or if it was the product. I returned for a different product since, I have never owned an LG before. I did not trust that it was not just damage. The dryer did not dry my clothes on the sensory levels. I did not know if it was damage or the LG.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this dryer. My clothes are dry every time the first time though. The lint trap is my second favorite feature. My first favorite feature is when the laundry is done drying and the dryer plays a lovely melody to tell me that it's done.

I am happy with this dryer but still getting used to it. The door opens side to side instead of down so sometimes when I'm transferring clothes from the washer, they fall on the floor. It also doesn't recommend dryer sheets which I'd used sometimes. I had already started using the balls but sometimes they make noise bouncing in there which is with any dryer. Overall I like it.

The dryer has an amazing amount of special new technical features compared to my old 15+ years one. It would have been helpful to have the installer give a demonstration. I dutifully read the manual but for the most important page - The Cycle Guide, I had to go online. The Flow Sense button is an excellent safety feature. Learned a lot of new lessons by buying this appliance.

I've had this dryer for (6) months and am happy with it. The lint filter does an amazing job and is easy to clean compared to my last non-LG dryer. It has a huge capacity which is a great feature for bedspreads, etc. The dryer works well although sometimes clothes are very slightly damp after completion of the cycle. I just drape them over the footboard on the bed for a while before putting them in their proper drawers. My biggest complaint with the dryer is the lack of an interior light. I've never had a dryer before without one and I miss it. The lack of a light is why I rated it four stars instead of 5.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 4 months ago and have been dealing with replacements parts and LG. Brand new dryer. My dryer will not dry my clothes and have been going back and forth with them now ever sense. Ridiculous.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my new washer and dryer for a month or a little longer, and I'm very pleased with them so far. This my first time owning LG appliances, but I don't have any complaints so far. I do like the little jingle that plays when you turn on the appliances. My dryer does a great job getting all of my laundry dry, and I like that there are different settings for time and temperature. It's definitely a good purchase.
