I can’t say enough good things about this gazebo. First of all the instructions were provided in an app that was super interactive. You could pinch and zoom and rotate each detailed step. I absolutely loved the instructions. The materials were great quality, the holes all matched up, this thing was a dream to assemble. The only thing that would have made things any easier is if the hardware for each step were combined into bags that included the parts needed for each step, instead of having all the screws together and all the washers together, etc.

Purchased Dec 2022. It took three days to assemble, however we probably could have finished in two if we didn't chit chat and take a ton of breaks. Assembly went smooth and the paper instructions where put together very well. There is a 3D app that can be downloaded that also helps walk you through assembly. We referenced the app a couple times when we couldn't quite see something right in the paper instructions. Very pleased with the quality and sturdyness. Highly recommend. Would definitely.purchase again, and have been thinking about getting a size smaller for another area of the backyard.

This gazebo is so much sturdier than our previous setup and with the metal roof and electrical outlets, it provides all we need. The product installation was well documented and the step by step video tutorial made it super easy to assemble without second guessing what you were doing. A few steps require a second or third person, but for the most part it was a one man assembly. We love the look and are hoping to enjoy it for years to come.

I have been researching these for actually years. Finally decided to buy this one. Absolutely the right choice. The packaging was fantastic nothing got damaged in shipment. The incredible thing is the engineering of this. It takes time but goes together perfectly. Everybody who sees it cannot believe how nice it is. I called for a question and the customer service was just as good as the product. I am real happy with the entire purchasing decision!

We were able to build this with myself and my husband but strongly suggest others to assist when operating the post. Didn't realize in order to be under warranty you have to stain or seal the wood every year for 5 years. We have received many compliments about the beauty of the pavilion. Overall we are very pleased with how it turned out.

We purchased this Norwood 16’ x 12’ gazebo a year ago after discovering we needed some shelter and shade to enjoy our outdoor patio furniture and fire pit. Assembly was not hard but was a little tedious and required a good deal of time as I still work full-time. That said, the instructions were very good, and my wife and I did most of the work. A good friend helped me with the roof and my excellent neighbors helped with the "heavy lift" portion of the build. Once completed, we absolutely loved it! We were spending so much time in it, that I decided to add lights, a ceiling fan, a propane heater, and a television! The television was a little tricky as I needed to protect it from the weather and the ends of the gazebo are basically open. I installed a 4’ x 8’ sheet of ultraviolet-resistant plexiglass in a secure wooden frame and a flip down motorized TV mount. I also added a mesh network satellite to improve streaming and download times. The electrical box supplies enough power and amperage to run all the electrical devices and the drop-down ledge is perfect for charging mobile phones. The entire structure is bolted into the concrete deck and the wood tones matched our patio furniture nicely. We thoroughly enjoy evenings and weekends outdoors watching sunsets, the night sky, and three dachshunds playing in the yard. I cannot recommend this product enough and I am completely satisfied with the purchase. The dachshunds love it, too!

The kit arrived at an incredibly busy time for me. We had just moved and I had many tasked to complete before leaving the country for two weeks. On Sunday night I decided my slate was open for Monday so I began reading and trying to understand the assembly instructions. Monday at 5:00 AM I began unboxing and stacking pieces in a logical placement. With a few breaks to recover from the heat, I had the gazebo erected and fully complete at 7:30 PM. We are thrilled with how this looks and are now excited to return to out home in 7 days to begin enjoying this idyllic space created under our Backyard Discovery 16x12 Norwood Gazebo. What a wonderful addition to our yard.

Highly recommend if you pay fir assembly..not only professional installed but at an excellent price.

I'm so glad I purchased this carport. Originally, we were going to build on an additional garage, but after getting quotes on a project that size, we started looking at other options. Settled on the Norwood Carport by Backyard Discovery and man I'm glad we went this route. I'm 63 and somewhat handy with building things, so I put it together myself. Obviously, doing it by myself posed a few challenges, but all in all it was a breeze. Very simple install. The step by step directions (included) were great, and the labeling of the pieces was perfect. Total install took me about 2 weeks to complete, but that included some special concrete footings which I poured myself since I was installing it on a slight grade (and it was winter) On a flat space this would be super easy. I was amazed how well engineered this structure is. This thing is awesome. The only assistance I needed was to set the roof panels on. I had the panels ready, so with 4 people, we were able to set the roof panels into place in about 1 hour. Once those were on and in place, I was able to secure them by myself. Making sure all was square and plumb; those roof panels went on very smooth. In hindsight, the only thing I should have done differently; I should have stained all wood prior to install. Also, since it was on a grade, I added (taller) customized 6" x 6" cedar posts to accommodate the grade. I plan to use the extra four 6"x6" cedar posts that came with the unit as fence and gate posts on the backside of the carport. I will add pics later.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect addition to our backyard. It feels very estately, large, substancial, but provides a cozy space for our yard. The gazebo is very sturdy, solid and has survived 2 snow storms and several wind storms already. We paid for assembly and it was well worth it. It took one (very strong) man 5 hours to set this up. He was definitely a pro, as I'm certain it would have taken us several days to complete.
