The number #1 key to a successful installation is having a perfectly level base. If the base is not level you won't be able to assemble the shed. There is really no way to make it work due to the shed being made out of plastic. I would not recommend a wooden base. It is difficult to get level and the base of the shed has various seems that will allow water between the shed's plastic floor and the wooden base. A concrete level pad is highly recommended.

I Bought this 8'X20' shed for my son and had it shipped to his home in Arkansas, it arrived on schedule and in perfect shape, he his wife and two teenagers had it completely assembled in one ( long ) day. He just loves this shed, all the neighbors now want one. I most likely will buy one for myself now as that was part of my thinking and wanted to know what it looked like first. ha ha.

We bought this shed a few years ago and hit has been wonderful. Big, lots of light and strong. Even with the snow load kit, you need to clean off the roof! We did not this year and the trusses on one side bent. It did not collapse though and that says something as many sheds in our area did. There were even garages that fell in. So that fact that ours was still standing is something. We then put a tarp over it until we could get it repaired. We contacted lifetime and they quickly sent us the parts that we needed, even across the US/Canada border in the middle of the COVID crisis.

This is a really nice shed and was pretty easy to put together since the piece's connect together. I would recommend this product.

I purchased this shed to put all my outdoor equipment in. Very pleased with the shed and can't wait to see how it makes it though the winter months. It took two people to put it together.

I receive my lifetime 8ftx20ft outdoor shed 3/14/2022. I had one problem and I called customer service. the gentleman I spoke to was super nice he helped me out with my problem.

Assembly wasn't too complex, though it did seem a tad redundant and confusing with some of the diagrams and parts labeling. Overall pleased with the outcome.

I purchased this shed and found out the instructions were in box 2 rather than box 1. I was left to search through all four boxes for parts and hardware. VERY Customer unfriendly! It took two calls to customer assistance number to get innaccurate answer!

This is a great looking shed, but as a stand alone, it seems a little flimsy. I have plans to add a vapor barrier inside and frame the walls, then attach the outer walls to the framing, so that will be more added cost. Between the video instructions and the book instructions, often they conflict with each other and some of the parts are labeled different from both instructions. I used two of the 8'x10' Lifetime steel foundation bases, set together, on a gravel pad. If everything is not perfectly leveled, you will have a difficult time aligning the parts. Several times I had to raise the foundation to get the parts to fit. I am still not convinced how water tight this shed will be, but time will tell. I plan to use the shed as a workshop, so I will be adding electricity. I have not ran the numbers, but buying a premade wooden shed, the same size, may have been a better option, when all is said and done. If you plan to use this shed just for storage, then it would be perfect!

I bought this shed because Sam's ran a crazy deal on them. If I had paid the normal retail price for it I'd be extremely unhappy. Because of the huge discount I am only mildly unhappy. The two biggest issues were the very very poor and hard to understand instructions and none of the parts were marked with the numbers called out in the poor instructions. Beyond that the pieces didn't fit well together. You have to be a brute to get some of the parts where they need to be for holes to line up for screws. The skylight portion of the building was an absolute nightmare. I also received incorrect parts as well. Once it was together it seems to be okay but I also haven't had a hard rain or blowing snow yet. If I had it to do over again I doubt I would buy another.
