I bought this dryer because it matches my washer that I've had for several years and I wanted to stack them. It's very efficient and is quiet. My only complaint was that it doesn't have a light inside. But I've gotten used to it.

As soon as I discovered that my clothes especially the winter clothes need to be dried on the heavy duty choice not the normal choice I have been very pleased with the performance.

We have had this dryer about a month now, because of my husband having a medical issue I do at least two loads of laundry a day. I don't have to worry about the load getting too hot cause it senses when the load is dry and shuts off.

After 2 years the white paint on the inner drum of the dryer is peeling. LG is aware of this problem and refuses to do anything to make this right. Besides the peeling paint, the dryer has performed very well.

Problem was identified with technician on phone; parts were shipped to my home prior to the repair, and the repair was completed promptly when the technician came out to our home
