Performs very well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this washer dryer combo for over a month now and have been very pleased with the performance. We have it in our master bathroom, which is very convenient. We have another conventional, top load LG washer dryer combo in the basement that also works very well! But this one is getting the bulk of the use due to the convenient location. Pros:The washer actually holds more than you would expect. Not as much as our LG top load washer, but certainly enough for regular usage. The location of the controls in the center of the unit is very convenient and just makes sense. Whatever setting you use for the wash (ex. regular clothes, bedding, etc.), will automatically default to the equivalent setting on the dryer when move the load in the dryer. Again, this just makes sense. It is relatively quiet and the time per load "seems" to be shorter than with a conventional washer and dryer. My understanding is that there are a lot of sensors in the washer which may be working to reduce the time needed if your load is not too dirty. Also, it looks very nice! We have it in a "closet" space with doors in the bathroom. However, it would look very nice if you didn't have doors or an enclosure. LG app: This is a feature I thought I would hate. I don't need all my appliances to be "smart" and telling me how they are doing... It has actually turned out to be pretty convenient, especially working from home. Just put in load and go about your business. You'll get a notice on your phone when your load is done. Plus you can always check how much time is left. It took a couple of times to set up, but once done, it has been seamless. Cons: Getting moved upstairs was a pain!! We bought at Costco and they had to drop off and come back another day to move upstairs. This is because it is truly a single unit. It does not come apart for install purposes. Over 330 lbs. that essentially needs to be moved vertically (took 3-4 guys) to get upstairs! Make sure you account for this if you buy. A related con is that if either washer or dryer breaks and can't be repaired, you essentially have to buy new combo unit. But I have read other reviews that note that this is essentially the case even with the stacked washer dryers that can be separated (i.e., models change and separate units may not be compatible). I understand some competing models have a larger storage tank for detergent so you can fill and then do multiple loads before refilling. This one does not have that feature, but it works fine, like every other washer we have owned. Lastly, it is more expensive than other stackable units. That said, I think the benefits outweigh the additional expense. I definitely recommend!

Big waste of money!!

Looks nice and saves space but works very poorly. Does not wash clothes properly and don't even try to add anything extra like laundry sanitizer or anything it will stop half way through the wash to throw a code up about suds.Have to wash a load of towels with the bare minimum laundry soap or this happens every time. Which you have to basically run the cycle again with NO soap at all. Constantly get the dryer lint code when drying clothes even though we clean the lint screen after every use. Just a big waste of money. Haven't even had this set a year and already looking into replacing it with a different brand.

Quiet, fast, perfect

I own 3 LG All in one washer dryers. and just bought the Tower 1 month ago. It has all the features of my beloved W/D all in one's. Although it is even quieter and cleans clothes fast with the addition of the steam technology during drying. This has made washing and drying easy and enjoyable, without all the wrinkles.

LG Outdid Themselves This Time

My LG Tower is the best washer and dryer that I've ever purchased. I don't think it can get better than this. I guess I could wish for a place inside the washer to store laundry detergent and dispense when washing as needed. The washer communicates the settings with the dryer, so all you have to do is start the dryer. I must warn you this unit is very heavy, which is good to prevent the unit from being tipped over. I'm not a big fan of the download settings, but that is just me. I do it on occasion

Washer Can't Clean Stains

We purchased this unit a little over 2 years ago, right before our child was born. Since then, we have used it 2-3 times a week and have kept up with the routine maintenance like cleaning out the drain filter and running a tub cleaning. Now that our kid is getting older, they are finding new ways of getting messy from things like food, dirt, and play activities (pens, paints, etc). This washing machine just doesn't seem up to the task of cleaning clothes that have any kind of noticeable stains on it. Pasta sauces, oranges, blue berries, grass, food grease, markers all leave stains that just WILL NOT COME OUT. We have tried everything we can think of - pre-soaking the clothes for >1hr in oxi clean, using stain remover sprays and scrubbing the stain before washing, putting laundry boosters in the wash, running on high soil cycle. The clothes just come out with stains on them still. Sometimes the clothes come out with dark splotches like oil/grease stains that weren't even there when they went into the wash. We've used a dozen different laundry detergents from the "free and clear" all the way up to the "maximum stain removers". Probably used a similar number of stain removers too. None of the other parents at our kid's daycare have this issue even though their kids are getting all the same stains, so the only conclusion we can come to is that this washing machine just SUCKS at getting stains out of clothes. If you have kids or are regularly getting your clothes actually dirty, you should really stay away from this washer.

Wonderful Combo Unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love these machines! Wash function is excellent with just the right amount of features to choose from. The light in both units is a big plus. Dryer is also excellent at drying with little to no wrinkles in our clothes. So far no complaints other than I wish the end cycle sound was a bit louder. But couldn't be happier otherwise.

Screech noise buyer beware, defect

There is obviously a flaw in the product. Reading multiple reviews with same issue, I also recently returned this wash tower due to screeching noises coming from the washer when doing a load of laundry. Brand new tower and happened on first time using, after a tech looked at it and advised fixed. Happened following on every load after.

Full size capacity in a small size unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product three weeks ago and couldn't be happier. Nice design and well built. Time will tell if my opinion changes. No mechanical buttons or knobs Easy to use features. This product comes with wireless connectivity which I can't see myself ever using but other wise I have no other complains.

Fantastic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read all the reviews before buying this laundry center. I am so glad I did buy this LG laundry center. It works great using less water than my older washer. it handles loads of all sizes and quietly. Love the dry Steam cycle! I really am enjoying using my LG Laundry Center.

I Love My Laundry Center

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My washer/dryer. My new home has a small laundry closet and the laundry center fits nicely with a bit of extra room on the sides for a shelf that I use for storing my laundry supplies. The sleek design of the laundry center gives it a modern look and feel. The best feature for me is the control panel which is located between the washer and dryer. I looked at other models that had the dryer panel located above the dryer, which was unreachable for me. Another feature that I enjoy is the automation. The washer automatically senses the size of the load. This feature eliminates my worry about wasting water or underestimating/overestimating the size of the wash load. Additionally, I don't have to estimate how long it will take the dryer to dry my laundry load, thereby saving energy. Both the washer and dryer operate quietly and efficiently. I have been pleased with the quality of the wash.
