My living camera and my outside door ring camera shares the same app where I can talk through both cameras, check to see what's going on , go back to look at videos I can now see what my kids are doing when I'm asleep

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited when I seen this camera was up for grabs for free I wanted the outdoor camera bc I have been looking at this brand and had friends and family recommend this outdoor camera brand well since they wqs out of the outdoor I got the indoor one and i set it all up for the emergency push call or dial family members but I plugged it in by our living room window and sit it on top of our ac until (window until) pull up the blinds just enough for the camera to see out the window and it picks up everything us walking in yard our dogs outside and all vehicles that come up our drive way and the videos are all so clear i get notifications every time somethinf or someone comes up in our front yard right on my phone! So glad I got this and I highly recommend! I will be purchasing the outdoor cameras very soon

I just open the app and get a great HD view of my living room. I feel a lot more secure since I live in a condo and maintenance sometimes needs access to my unit. I highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera was easy to set up and connect to your phone once you download the arlo app. You can then access the video footage directly from your phone. Video picture is clear and it also records in night mode. It can be controlled by google or Alexa which is also convenient. I don’t like how they always want you to pay for the added security but I also understand that’s how they make their money. I will continue to use the free features and recommend this for anyone looking for indoor security cameras.

I love that I receive instant notifications on my phone if there is movement from a person or animal. Another great feature is the privacy shield. Great when you are at home and want privacy. I have the camera set up to watch my dogs activity while I’m at work. Works with Alexa and Google which is also a nice feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was honored to receive the Arlo Essential Indoor Camera HD from Arlo and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. Let me tell you, this camera has the clearest and crispest picture/feed I’ve seen on an indoor camera. I already have cameras in my home that are hardwired. The Arlo camera beats those hands down in picture quality. This camera can record sound and video when in the armed mode. I did not test out the siren function because I have a cat that is already a scaredy cat at the smallest noise and I didn’t want to scare her any more than she already is. With this camera, unless you have the feed in the open or in the armed positions, the front of the camera is closed to protect your privacy. I wish there was a way that privacy could be protected but you could also review footage so that I could catch which cat was the naughty one on the counter! But, you cannot do that unless it is armed and I didn’t want my cats to set off the alarm. I still think I need to do more research on this camera to fully understand all of its functions. There is a monthly monitoring/fee that you can purchase but I have chosen not to at this time. Thank you Arlo and Influenster for a great plug in video security camera.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera is fantastic for a basic live feed to a room in your home. My only complaint is that it is not wireless. It has a decently long cord but if an outlet isn’t close you will need an extension. It gets obnoxious trying to keep the cord out of sight. Other than that I do like the camera.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera was very easy to setup. I had zero difficulty with setup. The app is very easy to use and outlines all the features it can do (ie., set alarm for away, disarm for home, recording options, lighting options, etc.) It has a vast array of options that I was not expecting. Definitely a plus. I like that you can choose to do live feed and speak into the camera as well as the recording of video and sound. It also notifies you anytime it detects movement, including cats walking around. The only downside is it is wired. This makes it not convenient when choosing a location to sit it on or mount it as you need a wall outlet nearby. The cord is surprisingly long but would still require an extension cord if there were no outlets nearby. Overall, I highly recommend but would prefer a wireless version if possible.

The cameras work well but, the downfall is that a subscription is required for storage. Paying for an annual subscription totally negates any cost savings for the actual product.
