My living camera and my outside door ring camera shares the same app where I can talk through both cameras, check to see what's going on , go back to look at videos I can now see what my kids are doing when I'm asleep

I had a baby monitor set up in the same spot before to be able to keep an eye on my crated pup. So I was overjoyed to find out I would be testing this out. I LOVE that the picture is so clear and the app is very user-friendly. It was so simple to set it up and download the app and begin using it immediately. I LOVE that I can check on her away from the house. I couldn’t do that with the baby monitor. I had to be on the same wifi. I also think it’s great there is a microphone so that I can talk to her while I’m away. Overall, I’m super happy with this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We already had an Arlo system for our home but only currently used outdoor cameras. Finally added this indoor to the mix! The picture quality is terrific and also has good sound pickup! Was very easy to connect to our main system. This also has a privacy shutter on it which is extremely important to us! Hackers are getting better and better at accessing home systems. This shutter gives the peace of mind to know while I have my system unarmed and intentionally not recording, that there is not an accessible stream! The Arlo system itself takes a little getting used to, their new updates make it a little vague for people new to this type of product and current users alike. Some of the wording is confusing. But once figured out and timers and geofencing set up, the purpose of the live video and captured items are great! Happy with our indoor add-on, especially for when we travel and have dog sitters or to check in on our pups whenever we leave the house!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited when I seen this camera was up for grabs for free I wanted the outdoor camera bc I have been looking at this brand and had friends and family recommend this outdoor camera brand well since they wqs out of the outdoor I got the indoor one and i set it all up for the emergency push call or dial family members but I plugged it in by our living room window and sit it on top of our ac until (window until) pull up the blinds just enough for the camera to see out the window and it picks up everything us walking in yard our dogs outside and all vehicles that come up our drive way and the videos are all so clear i get notifications every time somethinf or someone comes up in our front yard right on my phone! So glad I got this and I highly recommend! I will be purchasing the outdoor cameras very soon

Normally we use another brand of cameras and I feel that the quality is better than those. We use this downstairs so we can watch our cats when we go on vacations. Definitely recommend!

I love how clear the quality of the video was. It's cool how I can talk to my daughter when at work. It gives me the reinsurance that my place is protected when away. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy I got to try the Arlo Essential Indoor Camera HD. I now know exactly what is going on when I am not home. I just open the app and get a great HD view of my living room. I feel a lot more secure since I live in a condo and maintenance sometimes needs access to my unit. I highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to set up, and the app was so intuitive. Connected to Wi-Fi and took less than 10 minutes to complete. I don’t love the cord, but I needed the height for the camera to scan the whole room. I do plan to buy more!

The cameras work well but, the downfall is that a subscription is required for storage. Paying for an annual subscription totally negates any cost savings for the actual product.

cameras pretty much only work in the arlo app, not google home as they advertise. 2 way talk does not work. returned
